Bella apartment

We had a wonderful stay at Bella Apartment in Belgrade. The location is very convenient — we took a public bus from the bus station, and the centre of Zemun is about a 25-minute walk. The embankment is beautiful, full of swans, and lined with cafés and restaurants. Free city buses run regularly, and for daily needs there’s a large grocery store next door, a bakery by the bus stop, and a butcher’s shop across the road. A short bus ride takes you to the lively Zemun market. The owner Bojan personally welcomed us and gave very clear instructions, making check-in easy and hassle-free. The apartment itself is delightful — spotless, thoughtfully furnished, and full of little touches that give it character. Everything worked perfectly — Wi-Fi, kitchen supplies, toiletries — just like in the photos. The bed and furniture are very comfortable, the dining table is perfect for meals or working, and the balcony was a lovely spot to enjoy coffee in the sun. The atmosphere of the apartment makes it feel like a home rather than just a rental. Overall, we had a fantastic stay.

Everything is great in the apartment and the hosts are very kind and helpful, only the shower cabin is a bit tight for larger people, there are plenty of spices, coffee, chocolates in the apartment... very nice accommodation in a nice location.

I stayed in the property for two weeks and it had everything you need. It was clean, cozy and the owner was extremely helpful and always available. I would recommend this stay to anyone.

The apartment was very clean, and although the bathroom is a bit older, it was spotless and well maintained. The rest of the apartment is simple but perfectly reasonable and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host was extremely helpful and met us in person to register us with the local police, which is required for overnight stays in Serbia, and then sent all the registration documents to us on WhatsApp. We really appreciated how smooth and well organised this process was. The apartment was warm and comfortable, which was great as outside temperatures were below zero. We also appreciated that smoking is not allowed inside the apartment, so the air was fresh and pleasant, especially considering that smoking is very common in Serbia. There is free parking available right next to the building, which was very convenient, and the area felt safe. There is also a small shop just a one-minute walk away, which was very handy. The bed was comfortable, and overall we slept well.

The walls are very thin and you can hear conversations from neighbouring apartments. The building stairwell smells of cigarettes, but thankfully this does not enter the apartment.
