Old world appartment lovingly renovated in the centre of Middelburg.

Loved the central location. Great extras of muesli, yogurt, fruit, excellent teas and a Nespresso machine. Beautiful old monument appartement lovingly renovated.

Not suitable for physically challenged occupants as the appartment is at the top of a set of stairs.

We enjoyed staying in this cozy, charming apartment.

Easy and nice breakfast and coffee. The hosts were very friendly and flexible with check out time. A complimentary glas of bubbles if you have a diner in the restaurant downstairs. We loved to stay in this cozy and charming apartment. It is centrally located. You can walk to all highlights of the town in a couple of minutes. A lot of cafes and restaurants nearby.

We had no troubles with noise, but potentially it might be an issue if people are loud outside. You can literally hear everything what is said outside on the terrasses and parking place in front of the apartment. It is an old building which is very charming off course, but you also need to take into account that you hear every step in the apartment next to you.

Check in was very easy. Staff was really nice. The location was perfect for us. We had a great stay here. I would definitely recommend!

Cosy apartment with a beautiful view right in the city centre of Middelburg

When we booked the apartment, we did not know exactly how it would look like and how big it would be. Right in front of the apartment is a pay parking lot that we could comfortably use to unpack the car. Approximately 10 minutes walk away there is a free parking place. The apartment is located in a very beautiful and historical building at the beginning of Damplein. Many restaurants and bars as well as the city centre are just around the corner. This was very convenient. Nevertheless it was never too loud. One enters the apartment via a typical Dutch staircase (quite steep) and directly reaches the dining area with a small kitchenette and a dining table. The bathroom is new. The apartment is like a maisonette apartment and very spacious. Three steps lead up to the sleeping and living area with armchair, couch, TV and a large, comfortable bed. We immediately felt comfortable. The kitchen is so far well equipped, anything missing was added. Due to insurance restrictions cooking is unfortunately not possible and allowed there, but there is a water boiler and a mini oven for preparing breakfast. The contact to Michelle was easy and very pleasant. She was always helpful and offered to clean the apartment regularly. What we liked best was the big window front in the sleeping area. You have a really beautiful view over the Damplein and what was happening on the square. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Michelle’s apartment and would come back anytime and will certainly do so in the future. The flair of the old building, the size of the apartment and the wonderful view were our highlights.

The apartment is located directly above and next to the restaurant „De Gouden Bock“. So you get cooking noises sometimes and incredible good smells (torture :)). When entering the house, it sometimes smells a bit "musty", probably the sewer system of a 300 year old house. For people who are sensitive to smell or noise this may be disturbing, for us it was not.

Licht en ruim appartement op een perfecte plek in Middelburg.

Sfeervol pand. Ruim en licht appartement dat mooi is ingericht. Goed bed. Goed te verwarmen ook (het was buiten koud) en aardig dat er koffie, thee, muesli en yoghurt was. Perfecte plek in de stad.

Jammer dat de bubbels ontbraken (bed & bubbels). En de stoelen zitten niet heel comfortabel.

Fantastische accommodatie met perfecte ligging!

Een grotere ruimte dan verwacht. De ijskast was gevuld met fles wijn en frisdrankjes, yoghurt en fruit voor het ontbijt met muesli, ook koffie en thee was voorzien. Er werd uitgelegd waar je de auto gratis kon parkeren, perfecte service!

De stijle trap, ik miste een tafel met stoel waar je aan kunt werken . Bijvoorbeeld een kleinere kast onder de tv en in de hoek een bureau met stoel , leg een pen neer en schrijfpapier, een theepot , een kaasschaaf, en twee horren voor de ramen aan het plein alsje de ramen openzet, nu vliegen insecten naar binnen

Prachtige B & B op ideale locatie. Superschoon. Mooi smaakvol ingericht en heerlijk bed. Koelkast met yoghurt, fruit en eventueel fris en wijn. Er was muesli en genoeg heerlijke koffie en kwaliteit thee! Genoeg handdoeken. Heerlijk gegeten bij restaurant onder B&B. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw en personeel. Wij waren zeer verrast en vonden kwaliteit-prijs bijzonder goed van de B&B. Wij komen zeker nog eens. Genoten van de ruimte en sfeervolle inrichting.

Niet veel. Wellicht dat de aanrecht wat hoog is voor iemand van 1.56, waardoor ik alleen op mijn tenen bij de kraan kon (opstapje?). Het is wat gehorig, maar wat wil je in zo'n mooi oud pand. Daarom waarschijnlijk ook lage waterdruk in douche. Maar dit alles viel weg tegen prachtige, schone B&B

De locatie van het verblijf en de goed uitgeruste ruimte zijn uitstekend voor een paar dagen in het mooie Middelburg. De ruimte is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien.

Het bed is aan de zachte kant, maar slaapt desondanks goed!

Genauso schön wie auf den Fotos. Toplage. Wunderschön eingerichtet, unglaublicher Charme. Grosse Dusche. Allg. alles sehr grosszügig. Früchte und Joghurt, Müsli sowie Kaffee und Tee umsonst. Achtung Parkplätze teuer vor Haus (3 Euro/h max. 4h) . Parkhaus P4 hat Tagestarif 12h für ca 11Euro.

Bett sehr weich, könnte bisschen härter sein. Zimmer nicht ganz abdunkelbar, was uns selbst nicht gestört hat.
