Ferienhaus Gerti Werfenweng

Das Haus liegt auf einem Südwest Hang mit herrlicher Aussicht auf den Hochkönig. Wer es gerne ruhig hat ist hier perfekt aufgehoben. Die Größe der Unterkunft ist sehr gut. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt auch frische Eier zu kaufen.

Die Einrichtung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Noi eravamo 2 famiglie per noi è stato perfetto. Sevizio pane fresco ogni giorno Padroni di casa molto gentili e disponibili Consigliato per la tranquillità!

+ Wonderful mountains view + Spacious comfortable house, we have booked all the house for 10 people, it was great, could also comfortably fit 12-14 people + Equipped kitchen nice balconies, garden.

- The house is high up in the mountains, during the summer it is not a problem, but in winter could be challange to some cars. - Did not have firewood, must bring coal for barberq yourself.

We used the three bedroom apartment and owners even prepared the forth bedroom for us for temporary use. Apartment was spacious and kids had a lot of room to play. Each bedroom (except the 4th spare room) had their own small bathroom which was nice. Overall styling was simple and a bit retro but this is quite common in Alps. All rooms and bathroom were clean and nice. Kitchen was big and easy to use. Enough kitchenware but we missed that coffee cups were a bi too small for us :) There was no microwave oven. Refrigerator was big. Apartment was very quiet but maybe there was not loud neighbors in upper apartment. Location is also very quiet, although a bit annoying to drive so high if not used to. If skiing in Ski Amade, then several larger resorts are close enough - about 20-30 min drive.

Small issues with flushing the toilet as the system or design of the toilet bowl was clumsy and it took some effort to get the stuff down. Owner could warn and instruct quests how to operate it. We were visiting in February so it was not too warm in the apartment and during the night the radiators were not working. Thanks to thick blankets it was no problem to sleep but temperature in the apartment was a bit low in the morning. Also, no special place to try skiing clothes if these get wet and if radiators are not working in the night, then you might end up with wet clothes. There was no washing machine if you want to wash your clothes. Maybe owner offers this possibility separately but we did not need it. Washing socks and underwear is possible in the sink. If you are skiing, then no place to store skis, so you need to keep them in your car. Ski boot drier was some kind of blower and it works but it was only for 4 boots at the same time and it is shared with the upper apartment. Blower dries the boots quickly though.
