The location was excellent. It is very central and convenient, which was the best part of the stay.
The house was very cold and the central heating was not working properly. We had to use the fireplace every night to stay warm.
The kitchen equipment was not properly cleaned. The bed and furniture were very old.
The bathroom was old, not clean enough, and very noisy.
The central heating control is located in the bedroom and it turns on during the night, making loud noise and disturbing sleep.
On the first day, I asked if it was possible to check in 15 minutes early, but no one responded.
We also had difficulty finding the entrance to the house and had to ask a neighbor for help.

Good location, heating easy to use.
Hot water was plentiful
Fresh milk left, condiments too
Cosy feel
Bed surround in main bedrooom too large - kept banging feet
Bathroom/toilet could do with an upgrade
Parking could sometimes be problematic

Brilliant location
Shower was good but overall the bathroom needs some attention as it is rather tired looking. Double bed quilt was too small and needs to be a winter not summer quilt.
Kitchen needs blinds or curtains on window areas.

Very convenient to the town centre. Free parking in the road.
A wood burner to take off the chill.
Good strong shower
A few more logs would have seen us through the first use of the wood burner. However a huge amount arrived the following day and as we experienced the worst rain, Storm Claudia, it would have been very wet had it been in the log store.
The cottage is a little difficult to find, the distance from the 'Majestic' end is more like 350yds, after the second set of safety rails, on the left hand side, would pinpoint it more accurately.

Superb location. Comfortable beds. Small touches like milk in the fridge, box of toiletries in case forgotten. Great kitchen
Bathroom needs a bit of updating although shower was good. Need grab rail on bath wall.

Location was great. Kitchen contained goods to use.
Stairs are very step to bathroom. Ceilings very low for tall people. Big problem parking

The cottage was very well equipped, had everything we needed. It was centrally located so no need to drive whilst in Stow on the Wold. It was very quiet whilst we were there.
The only quibble we had was that the mattress protector and bottom sheets kept slipping on the single beds, possibly due to them being a slippery material or just a bit loose on the beds. This meant they kept rucking up in the night and had to keep pulling them back over the mattress.

Location was great and the house had everything we could have needed. Easy street parking was a plus!
No complaints!

The location was excellent, cottage was cosy and very pretty.
Lack of parking. The cottage does require a little updating as its looking very tired. On arrival there was no greeting pack welcoming us, we had to go looking for it and found it in a draw a few days later. Other places we have stayed the host has left a little welcome hamper and book containing all info we will need.

Location is perfect, small walk into Stow town centre where there’s lovely places to eat and everything we visited was within a 25 min drive. Overall was a lovely cottage.
TV didn’t work, we tried to contact the owner but didn’t have a response. We weren’t in a lot of the time so didn’t affect us much.

Bathroom was tough. Tiny sink, foot obstruction near toilet. Hard to keep water from leaking onto floor from shower.

Location was excellent. You can walk to the shops which is just 5 mins away and do a lil walk-about around the hood to admire the beautiful village. Property was clean, cosy and very comfortable for family. The host was very helpful and she responded instantly when I emailed her regarding rental of car.
There is Nothing I do not like about this property. The only thing we had to be careful is parking especially when there is mass cos, there is a lil church just next door.

The cottage was very comfortable and situated off a very quiet road with easy access to the centre. Lovely log fire with logs and kindling provided. Good central heating.
Beds very comfortable. A very cosy cottage.
I did email the owner about more logs and she replied back to me quickly, we had missed the log store on arrival as it was dark.
There was a musty smell as we walked into the kitchen and we discovered the dishwasher wasn't clean and as there was a pod in it we put it onto a hot wash to clean it which seemed to solve the issue.
Shower and water pressure a bit low but perfectly useable.

Excellent location and pretty cottage. It was cosy and there was plenty of wood left for the fire
The water pressure was terrible. The dishwasher didn’t work and there was a problem with the oven and one of the gas rings on the hob didn’t work

We liked the location of the property and the host was easy to contact. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped and a nice size. Nice log burner.
We had a leaking pipe in the bathroom which meant we were unable to use the bathroom. It was unfortunate but the host was great at sorting something else out for us. The second bedroom was very smalll, better suited to children rather than adults I think.

It was a perfect little cottage in a great location we had a lovely time
All I would say is that it could do with a couple more garden chairs on the patio as if there are 4 of you like our party we didn't have enough and to use kitchen chairs.

location
Both the property & the amenities for the guests have been neglected.
This was our “splurge” stay as we’d been saving & looking forward to traveling to the Cotswolds. Based on the internet photos, it looked cute as a button. While the exterior & kitchen colors are cute, there’s a lot to look past. Upon entering the floors appeared to be broom-swept, at best. The paneling of the refrigerator is shifted at an angle, and when you open the fridge you can see condensation on the back wall. It begs the question as to whether it’s actually sealed & holding in the cool temp.
We had to wash most dishes prior to using any of them. Our first evening while trying to clean dishes to cook, we didn’t have hot water. After trying to contact both the owner, the management company & support, it was ultimately fixed hours later when the owner called & explained how we should mess with the boiler. A gas man was sent out the next day. Not exactly a hassle-free holiday. I should note, the owner/Booking.com did try to do right by it with partial reimbursement.
We read through the guest book because we didn’t understand how it had such high ratings & were having a hard time palleting what premium we paid for. The high ratings within the guest book are from 10 years ago … Anything recent echoed how the property is in need of a deep clean, new bed linens/mattress, and overall care. It felt tired & dirty. Nothing worse than saving your pennies for such a let-down.
The ceiling are also extremely low (!). Caution to the wind to anyone tall.

Lovely little cottage right in the centre of stow. well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable week stay. Louise was lovely and very responsive to questions and the fireplace was divine!
It would of been great to have a few more washing tablets, toilet paper rolls and wood fire to sustain us for the week. may not be needed for shorter stays though as a few were provided!

Primrose Cottage was the perfect spot for our family trip to the Cotswold. Very cosy, warm, perfect location. It is a small cottage and it was just three of us so plenty of space for us but if you are looking for spacious lodging you might want to stay in bigger places.
Parking on the first day wasn’t easy as the road is small and car can come from both directions. Then we read that we could park in the church car park just next door, after that parking was never an issue. The Wi-Fi gave us some issues, 4g didn’t really work downstairs but it was perfect upstairs. The kitchen has all the basic things you would need and washing machine plus dishwasher but we didn’t use them. Plenty of space in the wardrobes.

Nothing.

Location, kitchen roomy
Cobwebs hanging from lights, light bulbs out, shower hanging from wall, safety rail missing on bath. We had bed window open it rained gutters were full hence I had moss and black bits all over my travel bag had to close windows. Decor peeling from ceilings. Cleaners were waiting outside from 09.10 to come in and clean. We cleaned and left it cleaner than when we went in. The property needs a revamp. However, the kitchen was very nice. I'm still waiting for my £20.00 refund.

The shower was almost impossible to turn on. Just needs so maintenance. Otherwise, everything was lovely.

Excellent location and a responsive host. The cottage is well-stocked with everything we needed to live and cook. It's walking distance to town and all of the coffee shops, restaurants, and pubs. We would stay here again.
Look out for low ceilings. My husband is 6'2" and hit his head a few times on low doorways. But I suppose that's normal in the Cotswolds. So not really a negative about the cottage, more of just a word of warning.
