A perfect space to stay in Stow!

It was one of the best places I have ever stayed in. It was spotless, completely comfortable and the owners were lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Very good stay.

The accommodation was fantastic. Probably the best apartment we've ever stayed in. High end decor, fittings and furnishings. At the same time we felt very relaxed there. Jayne was very helpful with pre stay information and in response whilst we were there. The location was central in Stow and above the lovely Hive cafe where we ate. We really appreciated our stay and the luxurious relaxed atmosphere.

The check in time of 6pm is much too late. The check out of 10am is too early. Also the WiFi was hit and miss. Good 5g in area, so not a big issue for us. Overall still worth a 10.

A lovely, well-outfitted property in a great location.

The property is modern, well built, very clean and comfortable, and well maintained. There is clearly a sense of pride in ownership. There is great attention to detail and a high standard of quality in the furnishings, which we really appreciated. The restaurant below the property, by the same name, is a lovely place to eat. If you are looking for a place to stay while touring The Cotswolds, Stow-on-the-Wold is a lovely town in a great location, and The Hive is a very delightful accommodation in Stow.

Lovely stay in the heart of Stow

Fabulous location in the centre of Stow. Very well appointed.

The parking space is great but a bit of a challenge with a larger car. We ended up driving in and reversing out as we couldn’t get the car in by reversing. With being above a restaurant there was a bit of noise from quite early in the morning on the days they were open.

Lots of great pubs, restaurants, deli's, chocolate shop, bakeries, supermarkets etc in Stow, you really don't need to venture far to get anything you need, also to be able to prepare food in your own place is a big bonus too, very well equipped kitchen.

2nd bedroom was small with no window (other than a skylight) and therefore limited ventilation. Bathroom extremely small Manoeuvring in and out of the allocated parking space is an extremely unpleasant exercise while parking on the street is a matter of luck. Overall, there is no real parking. Also having to strip all the bedlinen, pillow cases, duvet covers, fold them and put them into allocated baskets was s little much to ask for. Taking out the trash etc is already expected. Check in was 6 pm!!! Seriously inconvenient. The day is gone. And then we have to check out by 10. AM!! Seriously?

Location was great, apartment was lovely, high specification through-out, owners were very responsive and left treats in the fridge and basic catering needs.

Outdoor lighting on terrace would of been great, beds that were separated were very small, check in /check out times could of been more generous, house rules were a bit strict for 10am check out.

Convenient, easy to communicate with owner, bright space, roomy, clean, multiple bathrooms, linens of good quality, kitchen well stocked.

Water stain near master bath concerned me it could have mold under the rug, laundry room/ bathroom needed dusting, could have better lighting on porch & stairs

Amazing accommodation in the center of Tow on the Wold

The Hive is located in the center of this pretty town everything is on your doorstep, and the parking although very small is a bonus. The accommodation was extremely clean and well appointed everything you need for a holiday. The main bedroom is really lovely with a large on suite and great wardrobe space, the second bedroom is upstairs and quite small but still very nice with a small shower room and separate toilet. Living space isn’t massive but worked well for a family of four. There is also a lovely outside seating area which would be great in warmer weather. We will definitely return.

We had an amazing time. My mom, husband and I loved every minute of our stay!

We loved absolutely everything. We arrived to some yummy treats and a fantastically clean, gorgeous place. The beds, the kitchen, the location, everything was perfect. We loved having breakfast right downstairs at the cafe. Jayne and Sally really go the extra mile. We were really touched by the extra’s. Thank you sooooo much.

Superb

Beautiful home, modern, nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Great to have a little terrace. Location is excellent. Nice restaurants nearby and lots of things to do and visit in the are. We loved our visit to the Cotswolds and Stow on the Wold of as a perfect place to stay.

It was a pity that we couldn’t use the washing machine, would have been a big plus since we were on a roadtrip with a family. Dining table was a bit small and not so comfortable. Everything else was great.

The beds were super comfy. The whole apartment was all top spec and all the little things were thought about. Lovely welcome gift of croissants.

Free breakfast or any breakfast should have been included. Parking was a problem and the space they said was available was impossible to get in and out of. I did not know there would be steps up to the apartment.

Perfect!

The Hive was just perfect. You can clearly see that Jane and Sally have put lots of love and thought into this apartment. Everything was spot on and I honestly don't think there would be anything that you could change to make it better. The bed was super comfortable, fantastic bathroom and all of the amenities in the kitchen that you could ever need. The location of this apartment was excellent. We parked the car and didn't use it again until we checked out! The Hive Apartment is just a few short steps away from the main street with plenty of little independent shops, cafes and pubs/restaurants.

There wasn't anything that I could complain about, even a little, apart from the fact that we were only able to spend two nights here!

Very high standard and excellent location. Spotlessly clean with all modern appliances and fittings. Comfortable beds. Slight issue with headroom in upstairs bedroom but to be fair very old building refurbished to a very high standard in every way. Would recommend.
