Perfectly located lovely flat in the centre of Stow-on-the-Wold!

The location of this flat is excellent, right near the centre of the very attractive small town of Stow-on-the-Wold, which is quiet at night after the day trippers have left! It's above a tiny shopping unit (including clothes shop and café) that closes late afternoon, so no noise. Keys easily obtained from a lock box at the entrance to the shop unit, you have to lock the gates to the unit when you go out at night, but we found it no problem at all. Parking in the centre of Stow for 2 hours. We parked all night on the street in front of the next door pub (but we did have a small car). Spacious flat, it had everything we needed for a few days of self-catering, including a lovely bottle of wine left for us from the owner Alex. The seating area, dining table and kitchen space were open-plan, but very functional. Skylight windows to open when it was warm. Bathroom up a couple of steps from the bedroom, good big shower, loo and washbasin. Bedroom had a wardrobe with hangers and towel rail, and a cupboard with hair dryer, ironing board and iron and hoover. We loved this flat, and would not hesitate to recommend it to others, we were glad to have discovered it.

The only thing to mention is the flat is entered from the outside up a 12-stair iron staircase, care needs to be taken, but it was fine. It was a bit hard for 6ft 2in man to shave in the bathroom, but he managed! (His own fault for having tall parents...)

The location was wonderful and the accommodation was spacious and self contained. Communication with Alex was excellent and some tips for the area were greatly appreciated. It was a super secure property which was excellent.

Fantastic apartment

We felt so comfortable and cosy as soon as we opened the door each time we came back from a day out somewhere, a place to really relax and not disturbed by noisy traffic , neighbours or anyone . The central location was excellent and meant we were close to many shops and eateries . The flat was so very clean , the shower was amazing ( wasn’t so keen on the privacy curtain) . Bed was very comfortable and we slept so well . The host communicated well with us and on arrival left us milk , coffee , tea and even chocolates and wine , such a nice personal touch and going that extra mile which showed they really cared about our stay and experience with them . Will definitely return.

The location was perfect & felt very secure. Lovely gesture of wine & biscuits left for us to enjoy. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea & a pint of milk. Absolutely loved the shower.

Being picky but I didn’t like the curtain instead of a door on the bathroom.

Cosy, comfy, central location in Stow. Loved the feel of the apartment. It was so welcoming each time we came back from a day visiting the area. It was well appointed and had all we needed. A lovely touch was the wine and chocs on arrival.

Both my partner and I loved our break in Stow, and the flat was an ideal base to enjoy the town - clean, cozy and with all the mod cons we needed. Would definitely return.

Perfect little flat in a charming town.

This is a cosy flat with everything you need for a short break. Clean and tidy. Once the door is closed you would have no idea you were in the heart of a busy tourist town. Alex and Richard laid on everything we needed and were very helpful.
