Nice specious apartment in good location, 20min walk to the centre. Few small shops near by for grocery. Kitchen with all necessary equipment to cook for yourself, if you feel like doing that.

Bed in de main bedroom was not comfortable - mattress was sinking in the middle - causing back pain in the morning. Pity - could be solved with better under-slats support. We could not use air-co as there was no remote control provided to adjust temperature in de bedrooms (was set up for heating to 26C not cooling)

The apartment was close to the Santa Maria Novella Train station, which could be reached via tram at the end of the street. The apartment had cooking facilities and utencils to self cater. The shower pressure was good.

BEWARE THIS APARTMENT IS MANAGED WITH AN AGENCY. The apartment is managed by an agency. You have to collect the keys from their office and then make your way to the apartment on your own. NO ONE meets you at the apartment even though Italian law states they must meet and greet all holiday rental guests. Their are no apartment numbers in italy they just tell you its a 2 floor walk-up, so we had trouble finding the apartment door. There were also 3 x keys to get into the apartment (1 x building entrance key, apartment corridor key, and apartment door key.) The key to the apartment corridor (you enter a corridor with two separate apartment doors)was very old, and you had to wind it multiple times to open. Upon arriving, we sat on the single bed in the 2nd bedroom, and the bed slats fell out of the bed. I called to request this to be fixed, and all they did was send a maintenance man who looked at the bed and put the slat back in. It happened again the 2nd night. I called every every night for proper repairs, and they did nothing else. The bed slats were missing the protective nonslip covers, so they kept falling out. This is a safety risk for anyone sleeping on this bed. I told them this via phone and email, and it was not resolved at all over our entire stay. They need to replace all slats or replace the whole bed. The agency was difficult to deal with as they would answer your call and promise to do something but never did. The lack of care, safety, and customer service was appalling, and I would warn everyone NEVER to book here. They don't care about you, just your money.
