Me and my husband recently stayed overnight at Rooms by the River as we were attending an evening wedding reception in the area, we both found it a peaceful and scenic place to stay.
This property is in a stunning location with beautiful views of the river and surrounding area. Our room was spotlessly clean with great attention to detail, the bed was very comfortable hence we both had a great night's sleep. The complimentary continental breakfast was excellent and a lovely start to our day.
What made our stay extra special was the kindness of the host Matt, we quickly discovered that taxi's are severely limited in this area, Matt very kindly arranged for his daughter to bring us back to the property from the wedding, the next morning he took my husband back to the venue to collect our car, this was such thoughtful hospitality, he really went above and beyond.
There is not one thing we could fault in staying here and without doubt we will most definitely return, this place really is a hidden gem

I liked how Matt was so welcoming, the room had everything you’d need , comfy beds and plenty of choice at breakfast .
