Great value for money for what we needed for a 1 night stay

The decor was nice, it was clean and well presented. The red book was super useful and that towels and bedding were provided. It was nice there were a few games too. It was great location for what we needed and perfect for a 1 night stay I think as a group of 6 of us we would have struggled any longer as it is compact, which in itself is not a bad thing but a longer stay with 4 adults 2 children and a dog we probably would have needed more space if we were to have a longer stay in the area

The bathrooms were very compact and the sofa that's a sofa bed was tired and not comfortable as a sofa. On the whole it is a compact caravan and would suit a smaller family

Area was very clean and well looked after.

Lack of bus stop closer to front gate. We had a wheelchair user with our group and pushing wheelchair along a VERY busy road was difficult.

Beautiful Lodge

Such a lovely space, great size. Lots of natural light. Host sent easy to follow instructions to find the lodge. And left a folder with lots of useful information. Bed was super comfortable. Towels were fluffy. Hosts were easy to contact if needed, and were kind and helpful. Great facilities if needed e.g. fridge, oven etc. Easily one of the best places we have stayed at and great value for money. I would absolutely stay here again. We were in the area for dog walks, so it was an ideal location, and dog friendly.

Excellent comfortable property with everything you need for a stay. Clean and well equipped caravan.

Location was a bit sparse - nothing within walking distance which after a long drive was a small inconvenience but it was just a minor thing as it was very peaceful and quiet

Perfect for our needs.

The attractive lodge was conveniently situated and peaceful, perfect for a stay on our return from Scotland to Norfolk with two grandchildren and a dog. It is clean, comfortable and well equipped. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Excellent caravan- clean,welcoming and comfortable. Our second visit as a stopover between Scotland and Cornwall. Being able to arrive mid afternoon ( after the 5am departure) and just relax. There are 2 toilets! Good modern facilities and were able to cook our own meal. Dog friendly and there is a an excellent dog walking area - they loved it 😊 The outside are is great and secure for dogs- we would have used this had we not had rain on both visits.

Lovely caravan. Very spacious. Nice to have enclosed decking area. We were only there for a stopover to Cornwall but we would all love to come back for a longer nextime. Immaculate site.

Overnight Stop that was not enjoyable

The site was small and very well kept… the location was good and adequate parking..

It was tired and needs refreshing… the sofa was worn out and uncomfortable and the bed was the same… It was a typical caravan that needs a bit of an internal review… we were pleased that we only had one night and was away early in the morning because of poor sleep…

Needs a little TLC

Beds were comfortable and shower was good. Nice having a second bathroom when with family or friends. Clean on the surface.

I've said above, clean on the surface. Bedding/towels and general areas looked clean but when you looked closer it wasn't (bathroom radiator was dirty, vents in twin bedroom covered in dust, chopping board in kitchen had stains all over) Smelt musty in main area.

Great home from home

Woodpecker Lodge was a fabulous cosy and comfortable property. Most things had been thought about and everything you need for your stay. We think some restocking of crockery needed - only 3 wine glasses and 2 egg cups so not quite enough for a larger party, and no teapot - however this is only minor things. Very grateful for the spare toilet roll. Would definitely recommend and return. One small thing for the cleaner - I think the heated towel rail in the shower room could do with a clean but other than that the Lodge was very clean - many thanks

Excellent Little hidden Gem

The property far exceeded our expectations, it was lovely and clean and had washing up liquid, soap, towels etc which we weren't expecting. It was very cosy, dog friendly and located close to our family who we had come up to visit for the weekend. Would definitely stay there again.

The only issue was the check out time with the clocks going forward, was a rush to get out on time, as we lost an hour and had a really busy weekend, so would have been much nicer if we could have checked out slightly later. Obviously understandable with cleaners needing to come and clean the property for the next guest, but would have made the stay a bit more relaxing.

Awesome cute caravan

We arrived late at night to the property , and it was difficult to find out the caravan due to the darkness, but the property owner was very helpful, picked up my the cal, and guided us well. We enjoyed the stay. Thank you !
