The room was clean and bright and good sheets, very important, to me anyway.
Bathroom was clean, all in all a delightful stay and will go back when next on that highway roadtrip.
There was also a carport right next to each room, so if large hail stones appear, no damage will be done.

The pool needs a good clean and very cold water
The bed was ok pillows ok
Shower ok
Toilet abit tight to the wall
Bbq needs a good clean
Can smoke outside
Location is by main highway and 6 KMs from town
The lady was friendly
Overall it was pleasant 😊

I knew that I’d be getting in around 8pm, so tried to contact the motel numerous times to determine checkout procedure. No response. Completely ghosted. So I called them and they said they would leave the key in the door because reception closed at 8pm. It all seemed like a hassle to them.
The linen and the room were actually clean, but they have a massive cockroach problem, as evidenced by the cockroach spray left on the counter, so beware of putting your bags down. I can understand why they left the cups and glasses in the fridge, otherwise the cockroaches would have crawled all over them.
The facilities are basic but I suppose if you need your own room and don’t want to stay at a backpackers’, this is an option.
