Beautiful old homestead. Simple & rustic. We travelled with four dogs, housekeeper & large parrot. The house is enclosed so no worries about losing our crazy terriers. Facilities are simple but all you need. We never took the braai pack option but all were offered. Thanks to Vaughan and Annetjie Colier for sharing their beautiful working sheep farm with us.
Nothing we didn’t like ❤️

Although the location is off the beaten track and quite a drive out of the Colesberg centre, it was a beautiful setting, with everything we needed and more.
We didn't enjoy the fact that we didn't book this stunning cottage for a bit longer. We were sad to have to leave.

EVERYTHING
True farm life
Beautiful views from inside and outside, even saw meerkat whilst taking a shower
The cottage caters for self-catering. we were in transit from Cape Town to Johannesburg
Little pieces around the cottage, even reluctant to call it a collage as it's big, we literally only used half of it as a family of 4
A warning on the road that leads to the cottage from Colesberg Town, a high clearing car is required for that road

Anntjie was warm and welcoming. The braai pack and sides she prepared were fabulous. The setting is incredibly peaceful and home nicely decorated/appointed. Our kids, and dog loved stretching their legs in n the lovely yard after a long day in the car. Highly recommend and would stay here again!
