Stylish 3 bed house with parking in Bermondsey, SE1

Wir waren mit Freunden über Ostern in London und hätten uns kein besseres Zuhause auf Zeit wünschen können. Die Lage in Bermondsey ist perfekt. Zentral genug, um alles gut zu erreichen, und gleichzeitig in einer ruhigen, charmanten Ecke. Vom Parkplatz direkt am Haus konnten wir entspannt starten und zurückkommen. Das Haus selbst ist genau so gemütlich und stilvoll, wie man es sich aus den typischen London-Filmen vorstellt mit echtem Charakter und viel Liebe zum Detail. In unserer Reisegruppe hatten wir reichlich Platz und haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Auch die Vermieter waren einfach klasse: freundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert in der Kommunikation. Eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die London authentisch erleben und dabei stilvoll und entspannt wohnen möchten. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Besseres Wetter hatten wir vergessen mitzubuchen: ein paar Grad wärmer und weniger Regen wären toll gewesen :-)

Es handelt sich um eine ausgesprochen schöne und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit toller Ausstattung und sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern! Auch die Lage ist großartig!

Und hat alles sehr gut gefallen! Kleines Manko: es hat nur eine der beiden Duschen funktioniert…. Die Einstellung der perfekten Wassertemperatur ist zunächst eine kleine Herausforderung, aber man gewöhnt sich dran. Das Warmwasser ist extrem heiß!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Beautiful, Comfortable Stay That Felt Like Home My sisters, my daughter, and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. The location was excellent — close to everything we needed, including a Sainsbury’s Local just a short walk away, which made our trip so convenient. The house itself is incredibly welcoming. The two double bedrooms and the king‑size room were spacious and comfortable, and the whole place had a warm, homely feel. One of the highlights for me was the huge collection of books — truly more than anyone could read in one visit. It made the space feel lived‑in and full of character. The hosts have clearly put a lot of thought into providing essentials. We didn’t find ourselves missing anything, and it was easy to settle in straight away. There were a few minor maintenance issues, but nothing that affected our stay, and they seemed to be things the hosts simply hadn’t been made aware of before. We passed them on, and they were very receptive. Overall, we felt completely at home — more than I ever expected in a borrowed space. We’d happily stay again.

The only small thing I missed was a proper way to brew coffee. There was a percolator, but it didn’t work with the induction hob. A simple cafetiere would be perfect. This is a tiny detail in an otherwise fantastic stay.
