Not relaxing

The modern look in the apartment

Could not use the spa bath due to no hot water. Bare wires hanging from the ceiling instead of a smoke alarm,opened the patio doors to look straight onto sewage works. The mirror didn't work in the vanity unit. Light near the bed and towel rail hanging off the wall. Lots of loud road noise.only thin carpet on the stairs with no underlay so the house from people walking up the stairs was very loud. TV in both room and bathroom not working.

Location was excellent and the view out the window was great The hot tub and spa bath experience was excellent, the facilities within the apartment are 5 star we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone wanting to book a stay

The room, the view, the hot tub was great, overall a great place to stay.

Only issues was flies, host sorted us out though which was great service, was a bit pricey as well. If your using the hot tub, take flip flops

The view out the back was stunning

The location was on a busy road at the front the room itself was unfinished loads of little bits unfinished paint wise the sink was loose in bathroom the gap under the door was huge and let a lot of light in and no aerial to tv

Could be amazing. Stunning view with balcony, good size kitchen, bed was comfy, great size sofa to chill out.

Kitchen facilities were not luxury or 4 star. 2 plates (melomine) 2 mugs, 2 tumblers. No welcome pack, just a few sachets of instant Nescafé coffee and tea and mini cartons of milk. No cereal bowls, side plates, or additional plates for serving etc. no baking trays for the oven. Lacking lots of details, no salt or pepper, oil, or even a cafetière to make a coffee. No local knowledge information, or how to use the facilities, (I figured it, but in 4 star if should be detailed). In a giant room, the bathroom was inadequate, whacked my knees and head as you attempt to stand up from The toilet, and the shower doors are ridiculously small. For the cost of the room, these details were lacking. Go spend £50

Amazing experience!

The apartment had everything including bathrobes. The hot tub was the highlight of the stay. The host showed us how to use it, and it was in the perfect spot to enjoy the views. I look forward to returning very soon!!

The apartment wasn't totally secluded. I went downstairs and saw another couple on the deck, and then again in the hot tub. They have privacy glass, but the sides are open, so you could probably see someone. However, this may have been a very off chance and will not stop me from booking again.

Great Apartment with Great Views

Great Studio Apartment - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Woodroyd Apartment, we went to see Stereophonics at Huddersfield Stadium, and this was a great place to rest our heads after the concert.. The apartment was very clean, and we had everything we needed for our stay and a great view from the balcony of the rolling hills. We'd also like to say a 'big' thank you to Eva, who was so lovely with us, great personality and before we left she kindly let us have a look at the other apartments which have hot tubs, so we will definitely be coming back!

Executive standard accommodation with outstanding views thrown in

Clean, the balcony and stunning views, really modern facilities, mod cons. If this was my apartment I would be a very happy man. So pleasant and relaxing to come. Back to after a day at work . Nice touch by the owners to reach out and ask during my 4 night stay if I needed anything .

Not much not to like . Don’t let the slightly humble front view put you off what waits inside and the outstanding views from the back. This is executive standard . If I was pushed to offer an improvement advice , then the little diva in me would request an additional shelf at the bathroom sink for my toiletries and maybe an instruction guide to navigate the channels in the high tech TV ! For the avoidance of doubt , none of the above will stop me booking again

It's a building site right now!

It's quiet and out of the way. Good location for walkers and folk that don't want disturbing

It's a building site and built on a car valeting lot. Although advertised as exclusive it's a little misleading. The hot tubs are divided by a partition wall. We were lucky as we were the only people there. We had scaffolding surrounding the apartment and building debris outside the door. The view has been created by cutting trees down in the valley below. Butchered actually and the debris just left strewn on the floor. It's very expensive for what you actually get. The photos are a little deceiving. The place could be beautiful with a little TLC. There is also CCTV covering the hot tub area (not in the actual hot tub area) the walkway to the front door and steps leading to the hot tub. I'm simply disappointed that the advertising is misleading and should state it's a building site and that they have deliberately killed and butchered trees not on their property. Simply to get a view. I'm fully aware of my negative review. We should have been informed that it's currently a building site. There is also an issue of safety with the electrics. A heater in the living area has been double wired with an electric sofa. Overloading the socket. Against code and dangerous. The outside are was littered with cement and leaf debris. It should have been cleaned before we arrived. There wasn't a brush for us to clean ourselves.

Perfection 👌

Where do I start.... from the first time I fell in love with the uploaded, to actually experiencing the joy of this apartment.... hands down up there as the best stay I have been to in all my leisure breaks. Not a single hickup during my 2 day stay here at Woodroyd, and the hot tub, and that view... To say overwhelmed would be an understatement... Not only was the stay beyond perfect, but the care the owner to us just showed how much these guys care about their customers.. It was my Girlfriends surprise birthday weekend present, and the extra touch they included was just extra special... I can not even begin to thank them enough for this splendid stay. I can honestly say this will be a first of many in the future. 50/10 top marks

The view was stunning. It was very clean and nicely decorated The spa bath was very relaxing

WiFi was horrendous. The tv took an hour to get to work and then cut out every 2-3 seconds due to signal The shower dripped cold water on me constantly whilst in the spa bath which made it less enjoyable The bed was quite small (think it was a queen) and I’m 6ft 3 so we struggled a little.

An amazing couples retreat!

The spa bath was amazing and the water gets so hot. Had everything you need to cook meals and the bed and sofa was very comfy. The view was gorgeous!

I think the property may benefit from an air fryer as it makes cooking quicker and easier! However this isn’t a necessity as the place was gorgeous.

Amazing hottub with incredible view. Lovely location. Would go again!

Hot tub was excellent with a beautiful view. This was the best feature of the property! Location was great with nice walking paths and a fantastic pub nearby (Old Brandy Wine). Room was very clean and the host was friendly & helpful when we spoke on the phone. Bathroom was nice and modern. Comfy recliner sofa.

The apartment could do with some coat hangers & bedside tables. Also understand the hot tub has been recently installed. It would be good to have a foldable drying rack or clothes horse in the room. TV also didnt have any channels & couldn't connect it to the wifi. Screen mirroring worked but wasn't the best.

Stunning penthouse suite with amazing view!

Stunning view, spacious, nicely decorated to a high standard, kitchen equipped, lovely fluffy towels, very clean throughout. Nice quiet area. Lovely location.

Property was almost perfect! We noticed a couple of very minor things, one of the kitchen light fittings is a bit loose, hot and cold tap in bathroom wired up wrong way around (just need switching over), would benefit from a coat rack somewhere! But these are just small things! We had an amazing stay and would stay again without hesitation!

I am not very techy and struggled to sort out how to work the television via the internet. I had to phone the landlord for advice. He had emailed the instructions but in the excitement I hadn't read them.
