A very comfortable cottage which is excellent for a group of four who like walking.

Lovely comfortable cottage, friendly helpful hosts and great walks. The large sitting room and smart TV were perfect for wet days. We appreciated the tourist info and walking maps made available. The large kitchen made cooking easy. House is well designed and fitted.

Lovely family holiday.

The cottage is set in lovely woodland grounds close to many local attractions and places of interest. The property is spacious and well equipped, the rooms lovely and clean. There was a lovely complimentary welcome pack when we arrived with milk, tea, filter coffee, and a bottle of wine, the eggs and apple cake were delicious! Gwen and Martin were very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the area and local walks. their lovely dog Archie came to introduce himself too. We had a super holiday thank you.

The only problem we found was the third bedroom is quite small and cramped for adults. We did move the second bed underneath the bunk to make a little more space. The velux window in this room also had a child safety lock the key was provided but we couldn’t unlock it.

Beautiful scenery, lovely location and people! Just felt ast ease and at home ❤️

Everything! We lived where it was, Gwen and Martin were lovely! We even met Archie! Cannot fault for anything, great location with access to so many walks. Great for us as we go to the tank museum for tiger day and it’s only a 5 minute drive away! Even the fact they left out some lovely goodies for us! I genuinely haven’t slept so well away before!

Sanctuary in Dorset

The cottage was spotless on arrival. Nothing for Gwen & Martin was too much trouble and we felt very welcomed. Beds were very comfortable and every room was a delight. Location was perfect (directions provided made it a cinch to find) as we basically needed a hub to get around Dorset but were secluded enough to keep our kids settled.

Surpassed expectation

Surpassed expectations. 2 good sized adult rooms, third bedroom really only suitable for kids, but fine for us. Living and kitchen areas excellent, outdoor area perfect and interesting for our boys. Really well located, 10 minutes to Monkey world and nice pubs, within half hour of poole and lots of the purbeck attractions. Can't fault it.

Great friendly place to stay in beautifull surroundings

Great for families, were welcomed by the friendly gwen and martin. Found a house that was better than in the pictures in a lovely green surounding close to other great spots. Definitly a recomendation! Would go again for sure.

Great place to stay. Lovely couple who run it. Would love to come back.

This is a lovely cottage to stay in. Particularly if you are exploring the countryside or visiting the Tank museum. I really liked to couple who own the cottage. Lot's of really nice touches. They really care about the place they are renting out and their guests. Don't hesitate.

Can't think of anything. But you will need to drive to really get the benefit particularly if you want to visit pubs/restaurants in Wareham.

We didn’t like that we didn’t have more time! We have absolutely no real complaints- our only complaint is about how short of a time we booked for.
