Keepers Cottage

The property was exactly as pictured and was perfect for two families staying together. It can often be difficult to find accommodation with single beds for children, so this house was ideal, with a dedicated room for the kids and an en-suite bathroom for each of the three bedrooms. Great for showering after exploring the coast without waiting for each other. The house was a great size, very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed spending time together in the evenings and at breakfast. The children also enjoyed exploring and looking at all the unique decorative objects throughout the property. We would happily stay here again if visiting the area. It was a great central location for visiting Corfe Castle and Lyme Regis.

As other reviewers have mentioned stripping the beds and emptying the bins before leaving seemed a bit of an unnecessary faff when checking out at 10am. But it wouldn't stop us staying here again.

A lovely cosy old fashioned (in a good way) cottage, with everything you might need and a very friendly host. 6 of us stayed 2 nights for a wedding nearby and had a nice time on Fri evening in the pub and walking around the neighbourhood.

It would have been lovely to have been allowed a slightly later check out so we could have an hour or two's more shut eye after the wedding 😉

Great location, especially if you like trains.

There are many antiques at the property, which is not great if you have children.

Lovely cottage and great host. Location was superb with local amenities and tourist attractions near by . Cottage was very spacious for a family with kids.
