Warm, comfortable quiet lodge in a great location.

The lodge was clean, warm and very quiet. There were more mod cons than I expected - dishwasher, washing machine, chiller cabinet for wine etc.

It would have been helpful to have an information sheet e.g. how to work the cooker (numbers worn on hob dials) and the central heating controls. Space around the toilet was a bit restricted (for a larger person).

What a lovely gem of a site.

The lodge was lovely. Spacious, clean, comfortable with everything we needed. Thoroughly recommend this lovely site.

The "Shop" was in the reception and barely had the basic essentials, luckily there is an asda fuel station just down the road for any essentials that don't travel well (like milk etc), but it wasn't much of a negative.

Very enjoyable week especially the peace and quiet.

Having two shower rooms, big fridge/freezer, very quiet site with plenty of trees!

Although kitchen was well equiped there was no space to put food so our food had to stay in two boxes on the floor. Being self catering most people bring plenty of food. Also two burners on the top hob didn't work. Would also suggest there is no need for a washing machine or dishwasher in the lodge. We didn't use either. Removal would give two cupboards for visitors use.

Nice & quiet location. Tired looking lodge

Lovely location. Nice & quiet.

Tired looking. Cob webs in every corner of the lodge. Dirty grout in the bathroom. General dirty paint work with marks. Dirty windows. One blind missing. Not replaced. We had to put a picture up to avoid people looking in. Reception seemed to be closed more often than open. No cushions on sofas. No instructions on heating and any other applicable appliances.

TV's in every room with access to Freeview. KIDS loved access to old gameshows. Netflix/ Prime free week. Clean. Comfy lounge area. Good kitchen items. Excellent location for beach hopping.

Parking bays are little tight to manoeuvre in and out of when all the guests are 'home'. WiFi not always that strong for larger tasks. Oven not straightforward. No vacuum, just broom. Not easy after beach days. Smaller bedroom didn't have drawers for clothes. Just built-in wardrobe.

Wonderful and had all the things we needed.

The location was close enough to see all the amazing dorset coastline. The lodge was very cute and clean. The outside play area was lovely with gorgeous large trees and a good size play area for kids. The Lodge was well equipped with all the things families need. Plus electric charging for our car !

The showers were narrow. The clothes rack could be larger to accommodate for families. The heater was very low in power.

Good stay with issues

The site is overall good especially the size of the lodge and the sitting area.

The lodge sitting area was dirty and needed a good cleaning. Pillow was terrible that we could not sleep well. Some guidance on what is where could have been helpful, such as how to find dishwasher tablets or washing up liquid.

Location was amazing as was thr Lodge. The outside decking area was a wonderful treat in the sun and lovely and private surrounded by bushes. No time to do any of the woodland walks this time tho

The double doors leading from the lodge to the balcony was great and the ease of going in and out with the anpr camera. Location is great.

Definitely need more coffee and tea stocked and also a coffee machine (pod) instead, which would just make it perfect.

Excellent Stay!

Beautiful location so peaceful! The property is massive and so convenient with small children! We had privacy and all round exceptional time! Will definitely be coming back again WOW! The staff are just superb a gentleman went above and beyond to help us secure the bbq while reception was closed he managed to locate us after we had some cell reception issues - massively impressed and grateful!

It was ,on the whole,quiet. Nicely set among trees. A small site of lodges. Comfortable beds. Good parking areas. Friendly reception and maintenance staff.well located for visiting the Purbeck and Poole area.

The site has no facilities but this isn't a negative point. It's in a beautiful location, staff were fantastic. Lodge was as expected but in an amazing location. The site grounds are beautiful.

Comfortable and modern lodges , had the best weekend

Great lodges, way larger than the expected and very clean and modern. Check in was easy and then was generally left to it which was great. Couldn’t fault it. Towels/dishwasher etc all there so very handy

Location was great but too many faults in the lodge

The location

The oven wasn't working. We attempted to use it and had to call the site for help. It couldnt be fixed and we had to throw food away., the shower broke, lights were faulty and flashed. We were told our food shopping couldn't be brought by Asda to our lodge and we had to collect it from reception due to small roads, yet a huge rubbish truck was allowed around the site.

Quietness

Lied to about our family and dogs. We booked a family holiday with out 2 exeptional train dogs. We paid , then told we could not take our dogs as it wasn't a dog friendly chalet, therfore we COULD NOT take our daughter or dogs,. They had to stay home. We had no offer of a different property although there were lots of empty chalets neither offered a refund. Reception was always closed early

Beautiful setting. Peaceful and quiet. The lodge was equipped to a very high standard and spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds and great bathrooms. The kitchen had all the equipment and utensils you'd need. A real home from home. A lovely location for visiting the surrounding area. Supermarkets close by.

Very pleasant stay

The home was so well equipped with appliances and cooking equipment. We were able to wash and dry our dirty cycling clothes which was a luxury. The area was very beautiful and for the most part peaceful. The home was very warm and the furniture was comfortable. Had no major issues at all.

>The ceiling lights were pretty bright (even when dimmed) and right at eyeline so very intense on the eyes - it could've done with some ambient lighting like a lamp. >The home really could've done with more hooks/places to hang coats/towels. There were no hooks!

Large, spacious, smart and cheap

The lodge was large, quiet, private, stylish, comfortable, well equipped and, at the price I paid, a bargain.

I understood the site closes in the New Year for maintenance etc and my lodge needed a bit of that - loose knobs, scuffed walls etc But it was December when I was there and I wasn’t surprised by this. The only other thing is that I really would have liked a coffee maker of some kind - I hate instant coffee.
