I absolutely loved staying here, and was sad to only be there two days. Bhagwan and his wife were wonderful, we had a good chat on arrival. I almost felt like an extended family member. They regularly checked in on me, gave me tips and advice, and even checked to ensure I got to my onwards destination okay. As a solo female traveller this was very reassuring, and from the fact that they have daughters the same age as me, also felt genuine.
Bhagwan clearly prides himself on his attention to detail. The entire property was spotless, and I had everything I needed, including water refills, fancy shower gels, and as Bhagwan joked, the european ESSENTIAL, of toilet paper.
The room had everything I needed, a comfortable bed (I'm only 5ft/155cm, but it's big enough for tall westerners!) a ceiling fan, lots of storage space, and protection against mosquitos.
There is a great cafe near by for a moning perk called cafe Kothi, which even has oat milk for non-dairy drinkers. Other than that, the property is a bit far away from Jaipur's tourist offerings, but was tucked away from busy streets which was nice. Some other travellers have noted trains preventing them from sleeping but I did not experience this whatsoever, or even notice that we were close to trains. If you are a very light sleeper, perhaps this would be a problem, however I can't imagine finding anywhere in Jaipur which is going to be utterly silent ;)
I could tell that Bhagwan really works hard to maintain the standards of this stay. It's an excellent price, and I personally would have been happier with a much lower standard. The only thing I can say that I didn't like is the sense of worry that I felt for how hard Bhagwan is working in his retirement to maintain this standard! Please take a day or two off a week!!

This is a lovely homestay in a very quiet, safe area of Jaipur. It's a bit of a way out of the centre but the metro is only 15 minutes walk away and then it's super quick to get into the old town. The owner is super friendly and helpful.
The immediate area doesn't have much in the way of restaurants or shops - but the metro makes it easy to get around.

I stayed at Happy homestay in Jaipur during Holi festival, I absolutely loved the people. Sir and Ruchi madam are like family in Jaipur now. I absolutely loved the decor of the house, the bedroom with a beautiful frame was very calming. The room is spacious with a mirror and cupboards. The bathroom was super clean and has a very European feel to it. All the toiletries, towels are provided. Hot water, and all you need is available in the kitchen. I loved everything about the Happy home, most importantly the family that takes of the house as well as their guests.
I missed my flight and considering my loss, Bhagwan sir asked me return to his place and offered me his place to stay for free. This is something extra ordinary and that's what made my experience memorable for lifetime. I traveled with my ten year old European daughter, and they took care of her like their own grandchild. I recommend this place 1000 per cent to female travelers. It's safe, clean, quiet, its your home away from home.
There was nothing that I didn't like. I wish there was a TV in the room though.
