Happy Homestay

We had a wonderful stay at Happy Homestay in Civil Lines, Jaipur, from 2nd to 4th October. It was perfect for our family, and we felt right at home. Bhagwan Uncle is a great host and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The place is very family-friendly, with all the amenities you need. The large balcony was lovely, the kitchen was spacious, and the rooms were bright and well-lit. What we really liked was how well-maintained everything was. The place is so well preserved, and you can see the care that goes into looking after it. From the smallest details to the overall upkeep, it gives you a good sense of how a home should be maintained. Everything was thoughtfully arranged to make a family's stay comfortable. Aunty made our stay even more special by serving us delicious home-cooked food. Both Uncle and Aunty made us feel so welcome, almost like we were staying with family. Overall, we had a lovely experience. The homely atmosphere, thoughtful touches, and warm hospitality made our Jaipur trip even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaipur with family!

There is nothing that we didnt like

I came alone first, and was then joined by my friend & partner. The hosts are an exquisitely congenial Rajasthani family who ensconced us with genuine warmth, while still being caringly sensitised about our privacy. I love my family & my home, above all. And right after them it would be the Sharmas' at HH (Happy Homestay) in Jaipur. The aesthetic is a mix of minimalism, vintage & familial, which leaves a psychological imprint that's hard to not miss. I mean we'll miss them, and Jaipur for it. They get the core idea of a 'Homestay' absolutely right. They really care & they share the love.

Perhaps another conversation with the grandmaster himself, would have made it even more memorable. But hey.. there's always a next time . )

Mr Sharma greeted us at the door with a warm welcome and explained everything about the apartment. From the moment we arrived, I felt at home. The room and apartment are incredibly clean. The attention to detail is something that may unfortunately go unappreciated by some, but I loved it. Even the tea bags are organized in a very aesthetically pleasing manner. Amazing. The kitchen is stocked with pots and pans if you prefer cooking at home. Note the owners are vegetarian so they'd prefer you to not cook meat in the space, but eggs are fine. We normally cooked vegetarian breakfasts and lunch, then headed out for dinner. There's plenty of great restaurants in the area. The WiFi was strong enough to take multiple video calls so if you're working from this space, be assured the internet connection will work for you. Outside of that, I really enjoyed my conversations with the owner. He's very pleasant, thoughtful, and gave us great recommendations around the city. I'll definitely be booking again when I return to Jaipur.
