A very nice relaxing place, large rooms.

It was very nice large room with large bathroom. We got towels, breakfast (extra charge) was served downstairs. Nice hosts, they help you a lot. They can arrange drivers. Roof top was very good. Nice people met in the place. Close to restaurants. They provide shampoo and soap.

We booked a room with TV but it was not working. One of the balcony rooms has kind of view to the wall so we did not use it. The other balcony room seems to have better view. Jaipur is busy so it was a bit hard to walk even to the cash mashine that is max. 10 min away. That is not property's fault but linked to location in a big city.

Great!

Peaceful location, spacious comfortable room and shared outdoor space to relax. A very insightful yoga lesson. The food was delicious, authentic and nourishing. Everyone at the property very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay in Jaipur!

I couldn’t recommend Kalpana highly enough . Communication before hand was excellent & Aarash and his family were wonderfully welcoming & friendly, full of useful local recommendations. Morning yoga & breakfast were great ways to start the day & the location is the best in Jaipur

An oasis in Jaipur

I never give out 10s, but Kalpana, Aaruush and their family deserve it. India is a little crazy and this felt like an oasis, a home away from home. We took a yoga class with Kalpana and learned a lot about the spirit and meaning of yoga. Breakfast was great and so much food. Aaruush was very helpful helping us book many things and gave us some good advice too. Room was super nice and clean, lots of great facilities, tea, water, towels, nice bathroom, really cozy vibe. And finally something with good lighting. Almost didn’t want to leave. Location is also good, quiet neighbourhood but close enough to attractions and a lot of food options. Thanks so much to Kalpana and Aaruush and if we are ever in Jaipur again we’ll have to come back.

This place is paradise! The communication with Aaruush and Kalpana, the warm welcome, the house, the room, the fantastic dinner, all the helpful information, and their smiles… It truly felt like a dream. I will definitely come back and stay longer

Great place, nice family, and lovely neighborhood.

Kalpana Yoga Homestay was a nice place to stay – with a lovely garden and friendly owners. We felt very warmly welcomed in their house. And if there is a chance, you should definitely try the traditional breakfast.

We got a room that we didn't book and didn't see among the published on Booking.com.

Don’t miss this little gem in Jaipur

My first homestay, what a great experience! Excellent communication. Nothing was too much trouble. Home cooked food available which was delicious. Kalpana is a wonderful yoga teacher. Aarush was always available for any questions.

Wonderful!

Kalpanas homestay is truly a home away from home! The place is so beautifully decorated and has lots of greens. The room was spacious and very clean. Hosts were always responsive and so caring! Helped with recommendations and anything that made my stay easier. Really enjoyed my stay and so glad I had the chance to meet Aarush and Kalpana. Definitely coming back!

A home away from home

They were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Their friendliness and useful guidance made the trip to India. It was the first place we could switch off and rely on our host to help us with everything from preparing meals for us, recommending fantastic restaurants, organising a taxi tour to the fort and even helping plan the rest of our transit to the next steps on our travels. They also encouraged us to add some hidden gems like Pushkar and Chittorgarh to our travel itinerary, which was lovely.

Cozy, clean rooms, tasty homemade food

Kalpana and her family was so lovely. It was a very welcoming place to stay in. I stayed in the room with terrace and it was also nice. If you stay here you definitely have to try the yoga class with Kalpana.

Lovely spot in Jaipur

Lovely place to stay in Jaipur. Our room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Tea and coffee available as well as filtered water. You can have home made meals or eat at several good restaurants nearby. Above all, the homestay is in a nice and quiet area and had a good sleep.

Kalpana home stay is so beautiful! the rooms are stunning, just how they look in the photos. Kalpana her family are so kind and generous. amazing hospitality. food is incredible, and so nice to have a comforting homely place to stay in Jaipur. Excellent location!

Quite noisy at night, because of the neighbours next door and also our room was attached to the main house, which meant the lights shone into our room at night. but I guess all of Jaipur is noisy so actually it’s not a major negative. and you can’t hear street noise.

Fabulous homestay in a great location

A really lovely homestay in a quiet suburb of Jaipur. We had a fabulous large room with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water in the bathroom. There were tables and chairs just outside the room on an enclosed terrace full of potted plants. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. Kalpana offers yoga lessons in her studio on the first floor which I can highly recommend. It was just a short tuk tuk ride to all the main sites and there are a few good restaurants very close by within walking distance. We can recommend Daniels if you like Chinese food and want a change from Indian food! Based on the many other homestays we've experienced on our Indian travels so far, this has been the best so far and the only 10 I've awarded!

A peaceful retreat from the city centre

This is a lovely calm sanctuary in a very loud city. The property is really pretty and our room was big, bright, and looked just like the photos. Aaruush helped us with lots of things, and we even had a private yoga class at the homestay. It's good that it's a little away from the city centre because any closer and it would be unbearably loud and busy, and it was an easy tuk tuk ride away from the Pink City. There's also two great restaurants on the next road - Kalyan and Peacocks.

The room and bathroom could use a little TLC - just dusting and fixing a few minor things. But these really didn't affect our stay.

This is a beautiful house with the nicest hosts. The potato stuffed paratas were delicious at breakfast. room was spacious and nice, with a clean newly renovated bathroom. Definitely the place we’ll choose to stay at next time.

- Beautiful rooms, bathrooms and grounds at the property. - Fantastic breakfast. Plenty of food and variety for a good price. - From start to finish we felt extremely well looked after with advice/recommendations etc. Additionally, Aaroosh went above and beyond to help me when I got sick whilst staying, helping me get medical support and continually checking in to see if I was ok. The level of care was hugely appreciated - thank you!

Little oasis in the busy city with caring family

Overall a very cute homestay that the family has clearly put their heart and soul into. The building was beautiful and there were plants absolutely everwhere which was a great touch! Aaruush was so kind and very responsive, he also helped us organize several tours and our transportation to New Delhi - super genuine and kind person who obviously cared greatly that we have a good experience. He brought us home made chai when we first arrived and brought us extra blankets the second day when we were chilly!The breakfast was also absolutely DELICIOUS! Really felt like one of the family staying there. Rooms were cute and cozy with unique art & furniture pieces. Also appreciated their eco-concious efforts (glass filtered water, etc).

The bed could have been a little more comfortable, although it was really fine (especially for the price for staying). One of the duvets smelled a little, but they replaced it the second day when I asked about it and other than that the room (towels/sheets, etc.) and entire homestay seemed very clean! One thing to know is that the shower and toilet are one, which was fine (and did have hot water!) but that the floor of the bathroom stays quite wet for a while after you shower.

Enjoyable

The owners were very friendly en very helpful. They helped us with the taxi, a day of visiting Jaipur etc. You can easily send them a whatsapp text and they answer very quickly. Homestay was located in a calm area in Jaipur with a nice terrasse. Breakfast was very good. The matrass was a bit too hard for me but for my brother it was fine. Would definitely recommend this place.
