Just a five-minute walk (or a quick bus trip) from the centre of this prestigious ski village, this immaculate apartment has class written all over it. Part of a traditional-style chalet, it's warm, cosy and the host has thought of everything to make your stay a delight. From the Adirondack chairs on the wrap-around balcony you can gaze across rooftops, hills and snow-covered pines all the way to the Silvretta glacier. If you're here to ski, which is most likely, you can walk to the Gotschna cable car in about seven minutes – and choose to leave your kit either down there or in the boot room of your building. Inside, it's chocolate-box pretty, with a beautiful log fireplace, comfy soft furnishings and a huge corner sofa to relax on – all the while taking in that view. South facing and flooded with natural light, it's a bright and uplifting place to call home. Keen cooks will be pleased to note the kitchen has only the finest appliances and there's a sociable round dining table to spend your evenings sitting around with friends or family.
