CJ’s OceanCityView Modern Secure 1 bed apartment

The host was very responsive making it easy to communicate. The location was very central to the areas we wanted to visit making it very ideal. there are lots of shops within the area so we didn't have to go far to look for food and other amenities while staying there. the house itself was very clean when we checked in and had no issues during our stay. the space was also sufficient and comfortable for a long stay. i would definitely book again if I come back to cape town.

we ended up accumulating a lot of trash in the bin and had no idea where to deposit it, though the host did give us direction after we informed her, but we were still unable to do it due to misunderstanding of the information.

​I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Centurion. It has retained its classic hotel vibe but with fantastic, modern amenities. The swimming pool area is truly gorgeous, and I appreciated the obvious care and special attention to the plants and flowers by management—it felt like an oasis. My apartment offered a unique blend of city street views, which kept me connected to the Cape Town energy, and beautiful partial ocean views where I could clearly see Robben Island. The staff were incredibly effective and always on top of things. Inside the apartment, everything was excellent: a huge, incredibly comfortable bed, a kitchen with most things needed for meal preparation, a luxurious bathroom shower, and the huge convenience of an in-unit washer and dryer for laundry needs. A superb choice!

Suggested Improvement ​Kitchen Utensils: I noticed the kitchen was missing a colander, which would be a useful addition for meal preparation.

Consider removing the dining table and chairs to open up space

We were VERY disappointed with the air conditioning. The website said there was aircon but when we arrived there were 2 tiny portable units which could not cool the room. Also, the flat was very dirty when we arrived - a layer of dust over the bathroom and table tops in the kitchen/lounge.
