Nice house, good location

Lovely house with everything we needed. We stayed due to a few days planned at Alton Towers which was an easy half hour drive from the house. I could easily stay here for a week or more if needed. If the weather had been good we would have spent time in the good sized garden too. Hosts communication was great, had some basic food items in already like bread, milk, teabags and crisps so you can check in and have a drink before worrying about visiting a shop

Location to Alton towers 40 mins Monkey world 5 mins Both toilet seats loose on arrival, fixed the same day with no issues. All amenities very good !!

Spacious family house. Great location

The house was spacious. It was conveniently located to Alton Towers. Claire our host was attentive and left some treats, and also essentials like milk bread tea coffee crisps and biscuits which were greatly appreciated. The towels were fresh and fluffy and the beds very comfortable. The house was very clean.

Only one negative was that the house smelt very strongly of cigarette smoke which lingered throughout our whole stay. I can only assume that the folk who were there before us, who just moved out that same day we arrived were smoking in the house. This is why its not 10/10 as it was a bit unpleasant as a family of non smokers.

What a super stay in Stoke in a home from home!

Such a great property for a family to stay in. Plenty of space; nicely presented; well located for getting around; good facilities; well equipped and a very friendly and helpful host, who really went an extra mile when I accidentally left some belongings at the house. We also really appreciated the proximity to Trentham Gardens and shopping centre plus the welcome food supplies - especially the teenagers! Thanks very much, Claire, for a fab stay.

Next to a busy road but the noise didn't bother us as there is good double glazing.

Very comfortable home, with everything we needed for our stay. Very thoughtful supplies on our arrival and good communication from the owner. The 11am checkout was a nice surprise . Great location near Trentham shopping village, and a Harvester, so plenty of choice for meals out. Would definitely book again.

Upstairs smelt of old cigarette smoke but it didn’t affect the stay as it’s a lovely property. I don’t know if it’s from a neighbour coming through the walls. Would be great if it had black out blinds or thicker curtains particularly in the kids room as was very light in the mornings.

Overall a great stay

The host bought a few groceries which really helped us settle in quicker on our first night. The place was clean and cosy and the christmas decorations were also a nice touch.

The boiler being in one of the main bedrooms meant some of us were up half the night. The radiator in the smallest bedroom also didn't work. Also, I'm not sure if previous guests have smoked in the house, but there was a slight smoke smell.
