Beautiful Escape

Beautiful units in a beautiful location. Charming views. Very attentive staff. We loved it! Note that there are about 15 minutes' drive from the resort to town and there is no supermarket or restaurant nearby. So if you don't like to drive in narrow roads at night, bring dinner with you. There is a fully equipped kitchen in the unit.

I was taking my 83 years old grandfather to see the house he was born in - the host was exceptionally welcoming, the property was very well built and clean, breakfast was very delicious and as abundant as we couldn't eat all of it. The location is very beautiful. Everything was very, very good :)

I imagined it had a direct view to the town, I don't know why - only keep in mind the complex is outside of the town of Xanthi, but the road gives great scenery and was worth it :)

The property is very beautiful. Very clean and well maintained. It’s in the middle of the nature - soooo peaceful and calm and relaxing. The owner was very helpful from the first moment. There were coffee and tea from the house, as well as the water. In the morning at 9 am he brought us the breakfast - tasty and the bread was made by the owner’s mom!

The last 1 km it’s a bit narrow :) but when u come to the gate of the property u feel the safe and the professionalism and passion the entire area was built! We simply loved it!

Amazing place to stay, highly recommended!

These houses have an amazing view and it is a quiet and very special place. It is a place to relax, but you can also make very nice hikes and hear the birds and watch the turtles along the paths. The breakfast is generous and very delicious. The host is so kind. The house itself is spacious and comfortable, and it has the atmosphere of a mountain lodge.

This place is heaven on earth!! The view from the property and the nature around are spectacular! The room was clean, large and fully equiped!! The breakfast was great and Spyros, the host, is kind, helpful and gave us good tips for the area around. You can reach Xanthi's city center in 20mins. The location is pieceful, scenic, incredibly beautiful and easy to reach. The breakfast was excellent and the host was very friendly, helpful and discrete, while also covering every need we had. A lot of nice trails can be found all around the area.

Perfect harmony between manmade things and nature

916 mountain resort is a piece of heaven on earth. It's not just the little stone houses, built in perfect harmony with the surroundings, it's not the quality of the sleep we had there, it's not the amazing tasty breakfast, it's not the host, Spiros, that did everything so we felt like we were in the home of a dear friend... it's all together and many more that made our staying there an unforgettable experience! wonderful location with great view, comfortable beautiful spacious and fully equipped house, very friendly family owners, delicious breakfast in garden… Xanthi a nice town at 10 KM… everything.

nothing since everything was great. it’s a 950m (well indicated with signs) drive over a winding gravel road to reach the accommodation. We did it carefully but it was doable with a simple rental car.

Owner of the resort Spiros was very wellcoming and nice person. we arrive a bit late but he quickly show the house tell about everything. In the morning he prepared us a very nice breakfast with homemade bread and börek. The view of the villa is fantastic. We will definetely visit again.

Spyros is the best host possible! We will visit the houses very soon again and recommend the resort to all of our friends. The location is near the mountains and Xanti with very nice historical part, only 30 min from great beach in Fanari with Blue flag for clear sea water. There are perfect nice and lovely houses with great view, the breakfast was also very good! Thank you, Stavros for everything and we will visit the resort again!

Alpine Beauty!!

The road to the resort was bumpy, but it is totally worth it!! The houses are big,comfortable, cosy. The view is spectacular. The heating is on all day so you don't have to worry about the cold. The house was fully equipped with everything you could possibly imagine. Mr. Kostas, the owner, and his wife, Vicky are there for everything you might need, ready to help. They are so kind and so hospitable, and make sure you ask for suggestions on where to eat or places to visit. I wholeheartedly recommend to everyone and I will visit the place again most certainly!!

Amazing mountain retreat 15 minutes away from Xanthi

I love Xanthi as it combines beautiful beaches, picturesque mountains, the fascinating old town and amazing food. 916 Mountain Resort is a hidden gem in the mountain, only 15 minutes away from Xanthi. It allows you to stay in your private mountain cottage featuring a balcony with an awesome view of the local mountains and Thasos island. You can enjoy total privacy and quiet listening only to the sounds of nature. The bed is super comfortable, the bathroom is big and modern, everything is clean and neat and the kitchen has all the utensils needed to cook your own meals and make your own coffee. Kostas and Vicky are amazing hosts! Their knowledge of the area is nothing sort of impressive and encompasses everything from where to find the best sweets in Xanthi, how to get to secluded beaches and what are the best places to visit in neighbouring towns. They can arrange any kind of outdoor activities from horse riding to exploring Nestos river with a kayak. More than that they are genuinely welcoming and care about making your stay memorable. And for that, I personally thank both of them! You are both amazing.

Peace and silence because the location is in a forest about 8km outside of town. Very clean and spacious apartments.

Harika bir manzaraya sahip tertemiz bir tesisti. Ev konforunda. Sahibi Spiros çok misafirperverdi. Bize annesinin yaptığı kabak reçeli hediye etti. Kesinlikle tekrar konaklamak isteriz. Tam haftasonu kafa dinlemeye uygun bir ortam. Merkezi bir konuma olmasa bile kesinlikle sorun değil. Gayet ulaşımı kolay. Son 900 metre yolun toprak olması bile sonundaki manzaraya ve ortama değer.

Struttura silenziosa completamente immensa nel verde sulle montagne vicino Xanthi. Bellissima la vista sui monti dalla terrazza di casa, ottima la prima colazione e i proprietari veramente disponibili e gentili. Torneremo sicuramente!

Experiență unică - SUPERB

După ce am parcurs 8,5 km de la Xanthi, pe un drum de munte asfaltat( ultimii 900 m până la locație fiind pe un drum de pământ, accesibil pentru orice mașină), am ajuns la o proprietate minunată, o adevărată oază de liniște, de unde poți admira munții și un apus superb. Am fost așteptați de gazde, domnul Spiros si fiul său, care ne-au prezentat imprejurimile, casa de vacanță, utilată cu tot ceea ce este necesar, inclusiv cu apă, bere și un suvenir dulce, home made. Conform ințelegerii la ora 9 ne-a fost adus micul dejun, intr-un coșuleț, care conținea alimente pentru orice pretentios, inclusiv pepene galben, suc de fructe. Un mare plus este faptul că exista si un aparat de cafea cu capsule Illy, astfel că poți savura și o cafea bună in cadrul acela de vis. Per total...916 Mountain Resort este o destinație ideală pentru cine dorește să descopere și partea muntoasă a Greciei, unde raportul calitate - preț este EXCELENT.

Tolles Hotel in Xanthi

Wunderschön mit toller Aussicht auf die Berge. Der Besitzer Spyros ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und haben sogar Netflix. Gleichzeitig hatten wir im Zimmer eine Kaffeemaschine, einen Nespresso und konnten so unseren Kaffee dort auf der Terasse geniessen.

Der Weg zum Hotel ist holprig und teilweise ohne Asfalt, aber gut machbar.
