From the first moment it was like walking into a paradise. The staff was super welcoming and attentive, and arriving there with our pet we were curious how he would be treated. This place is the true definition of pet friendly, with everything prepared for him as much as it was for us. The facilities are super clean, the rooms have just about anything you would need. We had an issue with hot water the night we arrived, and despite how late it was, the technician resolved the issue in no time. It would be hard to consider anywhere else but here for a stay on this lovely island.
The quality of the items in the breakfast could've been better. The variety is there, but I would expect more local produce. Dark colored sunbeds and towels sometimes make it unbearably hot to lie down, despite the nice aesthetics

Faultless design, contemporary interiors, beds incredibly comfortable, complimentary wine and petits fours on arrival in the room and Maria on the front desk deserves a special mention, very caring and helpful. State of the art spa facilities. The tzatziki and flat bread in the restaurant and the homemade lemonade is not to be missed! The proximity to Pythagorio port is great, stunning port with great restaurants.
It is adjacent to an airport, however we knew this and my partner flies so probably his idea of heaven. The airport is not super busy and the hotel accommodation is very quiet + peaceful. The only thing we found slightly grating were the loud dance beats at the beach bar in the day, probably showing our age (!) but we wish the music was a little more chilled and less loud during the day but there are lots of other lovely beaches to go to if you don't want the big beats.

We stayed in a swim-up room which we really liked. The entire hotel area is very beautiful. Everything is new and fresh. We loved the beach and pool area. We rented the hotel's car for a day and visited lots of beaches on Samos - highly recommended. The hotel is only 5 minutes by car from Pythagorion where there are lots of restaurants, bars and shops.
On our 5th day at the hotel, both me and my boyfriend ate chicken for lunch. 6-7 hours later we started to feel really bad. We had to cancel our dinner and rush back to the room. All night we threw up, had stomach cramps and diarrhea. It was awful. The next day we got to talk to the front office manager. She was extremely rude, unprofessional and defensive (right in front of other guests who were curiously listening to our conversation) and blamed everything on a flu that was going on at the island (bullshit!). This despite the fact that she admitted that several other guests had also become ill. We overheard the staff in the bar who talked about both guests and staff falling ill. Also spoke to several other guests who were affected. After a lot of back and forth, we got to talk to the hotel manager, who refunded one night because of what happened. Unfortunately, it didn't stop here. 1 week later when we stayed at another hotel in Crete I got really sick again (which totally ruined our last days of vacation in Greece). I had to go to the hospital immediately when I got home and was on sick leave for 1 week. The doctor was sure that it was the bacteria that had struck again on me. I am extremely disappointed that this happened in a five star hotel!
