This was our 3rd stay in the cottage. A lovely quiet location adjacent to the South Downs Way & with other local walks on the doorstep. The cottage is very clean, tidy, spacious, comfortable & well equipped. Host Jackie is on hand should you need anything. We very much look forward to further stays at the cottage.

Very quiet, peaceful location - except for helicopters briefly one night!! Fabulous view across the fields and loved watching the chickens, birds and rabbits in their natural habitat. The weather was either warm or on one day hot, but the house was adaptable enough for us to cope. The comfort, facilities and the surroundings were really good.
We had a busy first few days and didn't meet the owners but there was absolutely nothing to query so we felt very relaxed very quickly. E mail contact was made and I quess this is the 21st Century. We prefer not to be bothered unless there is an issue so everything was fine.

It was beautifully presented, down a tree lined single car track. We woke up with a cockerel crowing and hen’s scratching around the stones of the drive way. Siting out on the patio with a coffee first thing listening to the wood pigeon was really idilic. We saw a slo worm on the drive too. Inside the house was a lovely size and spotless.
If I was going to be pedantic the door to the shower didn’t open very far and as a larger woman it was a tight squeeze getting into the shower but once in it was spacious with good water pressure and nice hot water.
