Location was great,15/20 minute walk to to the Botanic Gardens and Byres road where there's a lot of lovely restaurants and bars. We thought it was an apartment but it was a house so that was a nice surprise. Easy to access with good instructions from host - easy to get in touch with them if needed. Really good value for money.
Could have been a little cleaner; there was some rubbish was left in the bin from people before and a bit dusty in places but it is an old house, so to be expected.

Very good communication from owner . .We much appreciated the owner for being so accommodating and allowing an earlier entry into the apartment for some of our group, due to change of flights. Lovely period property with good sized rooms. .Good location. Not far to walk to get buses to city centre. shops nearby and a large Tesco just 5 minute drive away. Free off road and street parking a big bonus.
Kitchen could be slightly more equipped with more cutlery ,cups and wine glasses.
A folder containing information of nearby tourist attractions, local restaurants and takeaways.

The house was warm and comfortable. Bus stop near by and, discovered by accident, a 5 minute walk away is kelvindale station to Queens Street. Spa shop close by city taxis, "glasgo" excellent, quick and value for money
Only one toilet... a local guide to public transport and eateries would have been helpful.
A code for the rainbow of bins would be useful for non locals. Very Creeky floors,

Have spent time in this property previously. Location is excellent, not only for the Beatsons, but lots shops, cafes, pubs, gardens and exploring to be done. This saved so much stress from driving back and forth to Glasgow from the mon to fri for treatment. It is just over half mile to the hospital. Bedrooms are huge and we took board games to play sitting in the dining room.
There are about 8-10 steps up to both front and back door. Can't be helped because then you also have a view over the city.

The property was clean and quiet
The communication with the property provider was good
Great local birds and wildlife (we saw foxes, squirrels and lots of birds)
The upstairs floor boards are in a really bad state and I ripped my sock open on protruding parts of the floor boards
There was a strong floral odour throughout the house but particularly noticeable when you come in
There is a nice outlook into the garden but rubbish strewn everywhere that needs to be picked up

The apartment is beautiful and has a ton of space. The kitchen has all the amenities you need to make a meal. Less than 10 min walk to the Gartnavel bus stop. There were also at least three markets within walking distance from the apartment.
Everything was perfect, just be careful on the stairs, especially if you are wearing socks. 😁

In smaller 2 bedrooms lumpy and uncomfortable beds. Lumpy pillows.

No heating in bathroom.
Some facilities listed incorrectly; no bath and no bathrobes.
Not possible to move hairdryer to other rooms as tiewrapped to socket.
Stains on grey throw in largest bedroom.

Very spacious house in one of the most beautiful and impressive neighbourhoods in Glasgow. Excellent location for city walking. The restaurant and takeaway on the main road are among the best Glasgow has to offer. Off-road parking with electric charging was a huge bonus.
Basic decor and the kitchen wasn't very well equipped. Floors creaked and the bedroom door closed with difficulty.

It was advertised with a bath which was gone . I don’t have a bath so I bought bath bombs etc was looking for forward to a soak.a cigarette fell out of the couch I thought it was non smoking .

Great location, a short walk to the Botanic gardens, down to the bars and restaurants in Byres Rd, total 20-25 minutes. if you need anything, there are Spar and Londis mini- markets a couple of minutes away. Very spacious and comfortable house. Would book again

Felt very relaxed and was close to the shops, not bad area for a walk also
Shower was only installed couple days before we arrived and water pressure wasn't great slught leak under the tray and cistern on toilet was leaking landlord couldn't have been more helpful though top bloke very responsive to texts or calls

Lots of space and beds were super comfortable! Having 2 living areas was very handy with a group of 4 adults. Also good to have 2 convenience stores within close proximity. Nicholas was lovely to deal with and very helpful!
Some of the heaters upstairs didn’t work and the shower wasn’t great - temperature difficult to control and limited flow.

We liked the size of the property and we were provided with all the essential facilities for our stay. The property was close to plenty of shops and restaurants which was excellent for the family
