The owner Giulio came to collect us from the station, very friendly! The apartment was beautiful, even more so than in the pictures. It is situated in the former hotel Miramar, with a nice outside view of the harbour, and a very beautiful entrance. The apartment itself was clean, tastfully decorated with comfortable furniture, a good bed, a very well-equipped kitchen, and two bathrooms. Plenty of space. WiFi works perfectly. Really very good. There is also a tiny balcony with view of the railway station. The supermarket next to the entrance has everything you need, and both metro and station are very close.
The trains literally pass underneath the building, and they make noise 24/7, so you could not sit quietly on the balcony. But with the windows closed there was no noise at all, very well isolated. There seemed to be a bit of a problem with the electricity: in the kitchen only one machine could be operated at the same time, or the fuse would snap (but Giulio warned us in advance what to do). But with a little patience, we were able to cook a complete meal :) For this reason, we did not really trust to use the airco, but it may have been quite all-right, we just didn't try.

Nice apartment in a wonderful building. Good equiped kitchen and bathroom. The atmosphere in the apartment is great. Heating works perfect. Everything is clean even the public space. Third floor with elevator. 5 Min. walk to train station and Metro/bus lines. Beside the building is a free cog railway to go in the mountains of Genova (gorgeous view!!)
For check in and check out appointment with landlord is necessary. Balcony without sea view. Find a parking space is difficult.

Great view from balcony.
Building itself - it's a former hotel, very stylish inside and out, bright and spacious.
Grocery shop just next to main entrance, just bear in mind it's open till 8pm only.
Nothing really.
Don't forget it's on the hill so people with mobility difficulties may struggle to get there.
