It just acceptable ok . . But …

Easy parking , nice location . Got a free beer from the stuff the last night Clean enough Breakfast was very good .

1) nobody told us , the room would be "underground" with N O view , no " natural light " 2) we discovered that the bathroom had no shampoo / bath soap . ( there was a full bottle of hand soap ) When I told them , they had no idea where the new bottles where and it was me who had to brought the bottle from the room to just get a refill . Not a new bottle . 3) after waiting about an hour to get a cheese pie , they though I cancelled the order because of too much time waiting . When I FINALLY got the pie . Has a piece of human hair . They never apologised neither got something free that day . 4) on the room entrance . There was NO LIGHT at night (on the sidewalk for example ) resulting my girlfriend to almost sprain her ankle .. There was an entrance light that you could open only from the inside . We did the next afternoon , found it shut off when we came back .

Very sweet little flat, beautifully decorated in a stunning location in the mountains with spectacular views. The restaurant serves delicious food using homegrown produce. Very luxurious accommodation given the remoteness of location

Perfect Papingo

We loved our stay. Perfect location in our favourite village we visited in the Zagori region (Aristi is amazing too). Wonderful rustic chic accommodation, fabulous view, excellent food and service. And the perfect base to hike Vikos Gorge to Monodendri (allow 5-6 hours walking plus breaks).

Nothing we didn’t like, but a ceiling fan would help in summer.

Amazing views, property and food! Not to be missed when in Zagoroxwria!

The property is in a magical location in Papigko! The maisonette is so cosy and well equipped! The view is unbeatable and jaw dropping overlooking the mountain! The host is amazing, very friendly, generous and the epitome of the word filoxenia! They also own a restaurant adjacent to the hotel that has amazing food- do not miss the lamp chops!

the property is beautiful the rooms have been beautifully renovated and spacious. The garden and surroundings are lovingly cared for.

it’s a shame the hosts seem quite unfriendly and brusque. as someone has already said the pillows are hard and lumpy.

probably nicer to visit in the summer

the place is beautiful with character. Old stone building and the outside terrace is really nice. Both restaurants near by were nice.

our room had tiny windows, with very little light. the fireplace wasnt functioning, it was a cold day and we didn't enjoy being in the room. The hospitality wasnt great either.

Family run cosy guesthouse

Very clean and top quality of linen, bed etc. Staff was easygoing, very kind, flexible and giving personal attention without being intrusive. Nice breakfast and restaurant (a bit overpriced but like everything else in the area). Good location in the village.

A perfect place amidst wonderful nature

Astra Inn is an absolutely gorgeous place with breathtaking views! The food and breakfast are delicious made with fresh ingredients from their own garden. The rooms/houses are wonderful! The hosts are super friendly and were so helpful to arrange taxi to Monodendri when we wanted to hike the Vikos Gorge. Everything is nearby: Naturel pools are at walking distance; the Vikos Gorge trail ends around the corner. And its' still such a perfectly quiet place! The evenings on the terrace with tasty home made Greek food, watching the changing colours on the the mountain during sunset were a true highlight in our trip through Greece.

Excellent. Be Careful with Google maps directions

The last 300 meters is tricky to fund with Google maps, which directs you to turn right almost as you leave Papingo. This leads you into a very narrow street. Instead, follow the route to Mikro Papingo, and check the map before you enter Papingo to ensure you will not make the same mistake as I did

I stayed at 2 other Papigo places that were similarly priced and this inn far surpassed the others!

The breakfast was lovely and healthy tasting. The chef was so kind. Due to jet lag I overslept the time breakfast was served and he fed me anyway.

The room and all around are beautifoll!

The breakfast was very miserly miserly, and we had to buy extra food The hot water run out in the middle of the shower There was no wifi code in the room and we had to go to the resturant to ask for it. The waiter didnt know the code. We expected more for this price

The family run Astra Inn is a wonderful place to stay and value for money.

This is a beautifully renovated and charmingly decorated traditional Zagorian building. Our room was clean and well-presented and as well as a fridge even had a sauna! Eating the splendid breakfast of fresh bread rolls, croissant, honey, fresh fruit & orange juice, cold meats, local sheep cheese, eggs and coffee whilst overlooking the cottage vegetable garden and starring at the stunning views of the local mountains and the Vikos Gorge is an experience I will not easily forget. The staff were helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Location stunning, food excellent, including breakfast.

Host’s English was limited which is fine, but it would have been good for information to be available in English - e.g. map, suggested walks or activities etc. We also had thought there would be a greater area for our young kids to run around and play in.

Nice but could definitely do better

Rooms are beautiful in traditional stone buildings. Breakfast is simple but good. Probably the only place where we had real ham and not the ultra processed one served everywhere else. Location is nice, quiet and great view. The ladies serving the food were great.

I understand the owners try to have an eco friendly approach. Would be good for them to come to the guests and explain their approach but seems like they could not care less. They don't really speak English and don't make any effort... quite sad. The rooms are a bit dark. They should put stronger lights in. The restaurant is really to avoid. Half the menu was not available. The food was bland and expensive, very disappointing.

The hosts are lovely. They run a great restaurant. Everything decorated with good taste. Great location. If you are going there to enter Dragon Lake - I recommend this place.

Charming mountain village inn, excellent starting point for walking tours

Beautiful mountain village facility with lots of charm, well maintained and a lovely outside garden restaurant for diner, lunch and breakfast-with-a-great view. Excellent breakfast, fresh products served, great ambiance and ok service.

The uninterested response to the notification that their internet was down kept us from having dinner at the Astra restaurant. For the rest: all was tip-top. Fine facility, would rebook if visiting Papigko again.

Δεν μου άρεσε που είχε ιστό αράχνης στον τοίχο δίπλα στο κρεβάτι , δεν μου άρεσε που το τζάκι ήταν κλειστό με ένα κουτί στην περιοχή της καμινάδας και ακούγαμε διάφορους θορύβους, επίσης δεν μου άρεσε που άκουγα ότι έκαναν οι δίπλα και τελευταίο η κυρία που μας υποδέχθηκε δεν ήταν καθόλου ευγενική !

Πολύ όμορφο κατάλυμα κατάλληλο για χαλάρωση

Υπέροχα διακοσμημένος χώρος μέσα και έξω με όμορφη θέα στο βουνό. Τόσο το εστιατόριο ακριβώς δίπλα (που ανήκει στον ίδιο ιδιοκτήτη) όσο και το καφέ ακριβώς απέναντι είχαν πολύ ωραία προϊόντα και πολύ φιλόξενη εξυπηρέτηση. Όλα τα παραπάνω συνεισέφεραν σε μια πολύ ευχάριστη και χαλαρωτική διαμονή.

Υπήρξε κάποια παρανόηση σχετικά με το είδος του χώρου που είχαμε κλείσει. Αν έχετε κλείσει χώρο με τρία κρεβάτια μέσω booking ίσως να είναι χρήσιμο να τους το επισημάνετε και μέσω μηνύματος καθώς για κάποιο λόγο δεν τους ήταν ορατό στο σύστημά τους, μας πήγαν σε διαφορετικό χώρο από αυτόν που είχαμε κλείσει (που είχε ένα μονό και ένα διπλό κρεβάτι) και χρειάστηκε κάποια προσπάθεια για να μας πάνε στον σωστό. Τελικά το πρόβλημα επιλύθηκε και μας πήγαν στον χώρο που είχαμε κλείσει μέσω Βooking.

Super. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen

Es war kein Frühstücksbuffet. Das Frühstück wurde frisch mit lokalen Zutaten zubereitet, persönlich vom Gastgeber serviert und hatte alles was man braucht. Exzellent. Die Lage des Hotels war phantastisch. Man hatte von draußen direkten Blick in die Berge und ins Tal. Nicht zu vergessen das Restaurant. Alles, was wir ausprobiert haben, war ausgezeichnet. Und es war immer gut besucht, auch von nicht Hotel Gästen.
