This is a very sweet guesthouse, the location is great for traveling around, Machi was really nice, and breakfast was amazing!

We absolutely loved our stay at Althea Guesthouse. Location is perfect in the middle of the Zagorias. It is an easy ride to all the important places you want to visit ( towns, hikes, swimming holes). The little village has great restaurants and is not as touristy as other places around.
Our host was extremely kind, helpful and speaks great English!
Our duplex room was spacious, very nicely kept and had all the amenities needed for our vacation stay. Bedding and air con were just fine.
The outside of the building is well maintained with beautiful flowers everywhere.
Breakfast was.....AMAZING. Everything is local an homemade and there is, well beyond, plenty to eat!
We would definitely recommend this place!

It is beautiful with hand-tended gardens and lovely surroundings. The breakfast was unbelievable with selections fresh from the garden, home-baked goods and yogurt from local milk. The proprietor could not have been more helpful and takes great pride in her spotless and comfortable property. The Zagori region is not as well known among Americans and they are missing out! There are trails and hiking for all levels of ability, quaint villages to explore, cool springs and pools to relax in and delicious food to enjoy. This property includes all the best the area has to offer
