Lane Cottage

We self catered all week and enjoyed that. The cottage was so lovely it was easy to cook and enjoy our food every day while there

Can’t think of a thing except we couldn’t find any towels or get the Wi-Fi when we arrived. . We found a tel no in among the emails we had received before we travelled. The person who answered was the owner and didn’t relish our questions! We felt we would never have looked for the towels in the Poofe or ottoman in the dining room! We looked in the bedroom the toilet the kitchen but not the poorest! ! We felt we would have appreciated that info being part of the excellent info sheet awaiting us in the kitchen! The owner was able after lots of questions etc That his daughter must have unplugged the Wi-Fi thingamagig . We Searched at his directions and sure enough there it was unplugged! Once plugged in the Wi-Fi came on and all was well! We had no trouble with anything after that and enjoyed every minute of our stay in the cottage

Although really quiet area there was a ship around the corner . It was so close to Kilmore Quay , New Ross etc . The house was immaculate when we arrived and we had everything we needed

There was nothing we did not like about the property

We enjoyed our stay here. The cottage is a good size, with two double bedrooms, a large kitchen/dining area (table for four plus a breakfast counter), and two living rooms. The kitchen is well equipped, and has washer/dryer facilities. Wifi was strong, and shower pressure was good. The village is quaint, and has a pub and small shop within a short walking distance of the cottage. Great location for exploring Wexford, Waterford and beyond.

The mattresses and bed linens are old, and need refreshing.
