If excellence had an address, it would be this apartment! Travelled around Montenegro and this was the best apartment we stayed for entire trip. What impressed me most was how everything was in place exactly as it would be in your own home — from kitchen essentials to cozy touches that make settling in effortless. The interior is spotless, stylish, and thoughtfully arranged (as my youngster said - perfect Pinterest apartment :) ) The bed is exceptionally comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful enough to make you forget about your inbox entirely. The hosts strike ideal balance: warm, helpful, and knowledgeable, yet never intrusive. Their recommendations were spot-on! They clearly care about their guests experience, and it shows in every detail.

Checking in was quite difficult. We contacted the host in advance of staying and received what appeared to be clear instructions on how to check in and get on the WiFi etc., all seemed good. However, when we arrived, we were unable to find the apartment. This is largely because the apartment was actually about 600m away from the location shown on the maps on Booking.com (I'm not sure whether this is the fault of the host or of booking.com), but also because there is no name on the building matching the description on Booking. We needed to contact the host to be able to find it, which took about 25 minutes to get a response. This was after us spending the best part of an hour driving and walking around the town looking for the building, even speaking to the tourist office, then finding a cafe with WiFi to do more searching online and make contact with the host. Rather than sending us an accurate address, or a map showing the location of the building, the host sent us a photo of the building. It felt a little bit like a challenge! Fortunately, we happened to recognise it from our previous searching. If the host is reading this, I would highly recommend sending guests a map of the town with the building location indicated, it would be so much easier! For anyone else trying to find this place, put the following coordinates into Google maps: 43.1525128, 19.1277850 Once we found the building, everything else was really smooth. It was, however, further away from the centre of town and most of the restaurants etc. The only downside of the apartment itself, is that there was no bin provided in the apartment. At least, not one that we could find!
