La Finestra sul Lago

There are a lot of good hosts, but every so often you come across someone who is truly extraordinary - and Paola is exactly that, she truly goes above and beyond. We felt welcomed and looked after in every little detail from the moment we arrived. She left us homemade cakes which were absolutely delicious (besides being a fantastic host, she is a professional pastry chef), along with helpful tips for the area. The place was very cozy, clean, well cared for and had everything we needed, including tea, coffee, sweets, and a well-stocked fridge. She says breakfast is not included, but with everything she left, we didn’t need one. You can really tell how much effort she puts into making her guests feel comfortable. We highly recommend her, and we’ll definitely be back!

Location location location - great views of the lake and the hostess was lovely,warm and caring.

You have to walk down a fairly steep unlit ( no pavement either) road to get to the town which is about 20 mins away depending on your fitness. There is a restaurant up the steep road about 5 mins away but was closed and planned to open the week after.
