Loved being on the river and surrounded by beautiful trees. The hammock and swings. Loved the toys for the kids, canoe and life jackets available.
Snakes. Couldn’t get the dishwasher to work and the drain in the back bathroom sink did not drain.

The location was nice and secluded. Checkout process was pretty normal. We loved the swings and trees. It was nice to have separate AC units in each bedroom so that each group could choose how to sleep.
I specifically booked this house because it stated 4 separate bedrooms in 3 different places on the listing as we had 4 groups of families coming that needed their own private rooms. They labeled the open living room as a separate bedroom. Two of the families left after the first night and booked elsewhere because of this. When I called to let them know their listing was incorrect, I was just told that they would fix it. When I called booking to inform them that the listing was incorrect, they requested a full refund on my behalf. I didn't specifically ask for one, but it would have been nice to receive at least the cost of the other hotel that was purchased. They declined booking.com's request and didn't provide any sort of refund. Pretty disappointed.
The creek was dry to the bone which is not their fault, but just so anyone who wants to book right now is aware. The bed was hard as a rock in the room with the bathroom attached. The other bedrooms AC unit leaked on the floor and left a huge puddle of water, so we just turned it off.
