Home is rented out nightly and monthly- inquire into special pricing- LOG home w/POOL, on 4.5 acres with HUGE VIEW looking over a huge Canyon in the Hills with private firepit. LOCATION-- Only 5 minutes to Wimberley Square for restaurants, grocery, and antique shopping. NEW covered DECK!

Home is 3 bedrm, 3 baths, 2225 square ft. Central air/heat. Charcoal GRILL. Super clean home- best clean crew in town! Has 2 large decks on each level to enjoy the view. Home has 2 living rooms, Has a sleeper sofa in 1 living room for extra beds.
You "could" squeeze in more people, but given we are on a Well and Septic, we only allow 10 people maximum to stay here..
1 PET ONLY ALLOWED- $35 FEE
10 guests maximum
TOTAL # OF GUESTS ALLOWED IS # THAT YOU BOOK- IF YOU WISH TO HAVE ADDITIONAL PEOPLE COME FOR THE DAY- EMAIL ME TO DISCUSS FOR EXTRA FEE.
$25 per person, per night after 6. 10 PEOPLE MAX.
POOL IS SHARED WITH 1 OTHER HOME ONSITE- open Summer only.

We enjoyed a great deal of time on the back decks with lovely breezes and plenty of seating and shade. Everything was as pictured. The stairs were a little tricky for the elderly people(70) in our party. The beds were all very comfortable and we stayed very comfortable and cool with the a/c. We felt our needs were provided for with the supplies in the house. The host responded to all our questions beforehand. We had a very enjoyable stay

Our family absolutely loved our stay! The views were stunning, and we spent every morning with coffee and relaxing evenings out on the porch. The pool was the perfect way to cool off, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It felt like a private retreat—just far enough from town to feel secluded, yet only minutes away when we needed anything. We’ll definitely be coming back!

First, the best things were that the bed and pillows were updated and comfortable and the views from the deck were amazing! We had nice, shaded evenings with a good breeze.
The kitchen was reasonably stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils. There were plenty of cups, bowls, plates, but only limited silverware. However, as mentioned in a previous review, the freezer only worked sporadically and would not hold ice.
I went back to check the listing and it does say it in a description of the photo, but ALL of the bedrooms are located up a TINY SPIRAL stone staircase. For our group, that was difficult.
While we enjoyed ourselves, we were very dissatisfied in the condition of the pool deck lounge chairs and the chairs around the fire pit. It honestly would have been better to have an open area where you expected to bring your own chairs, as the majority were unsafe for use. I am going to guess that the pictures are in the about 5 years old.
The gas grill was basically unusable and we had to go buy charcoal for the other grill…which worked great, but the listing mentioned propane.
By 2-1/2 days in the house seemed to cool better after we contacted the host and got permission to turn down the thermostat. During these hot times, I would hope the cleaners would turn on the A/C when they leave in preparation for the next guests instead of letting the house get to well over 80. Unloading and our first day were miserably hot...you should bring extra fans!
