Fairlawn on the Blanco

The location is absolutely amazing. Beautiful spacious home, right by the river snd very close to the town of Wimberley. We loved the accommodations and the three bathrooms came in handy with a group of 5 adults and two children. The kitchen was well equipped with all the basics and then some. We appreciated having both coffee making machines as some of is preferred the espresso, while others were happy with the regular brew. The kids loved exploring and running around the yard and the wrap around balcony was lovely, wish we had more time!

The one this was the bedroom I had planned for my mother to sleep in has such a tall bed, it was literally impossible for her to climb on it. I myself (5’4”) had to jump up to get on it, and stretch my legs all the way to get off. It was a comfortable mattress but I would recommend getting a shorter box spring or shortening the legs of the frame.

Our stay at Fairlawn on the Blanco was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We were in Wimberley for a wedding, and this home turned out to be the ideal place to stay, just a short, easy drive to the venue yet tucked away enough to feel completely private and peaceful. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the charm and beauty of the property. The house itself is spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with every detail thoughtfully chosen for comfort and style. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and get ready for the big day without ever feeling crowded. We loved sipping coffee on the patio each morning, watching the sun rise over the Hill Country, and spotting deer and other wildlife wandering just yards from the porch. It felt like something out of a storybook. In the evenings, we’d unwind under the stars, taking in the calm and reflecting on such a special weekend. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. Hill Country Premier Lodging went above and beyond to make our stay effortless and welcoming. It truly felt like a home away from home, the perfect place to celebrate, recharge, and make lasting memories in Wimberley. We definitely want to return!
