A Wonderful Cozy, Family-Run Gem

I stayed at Hotel Plato for 5 nights during my trip to The Hague, and it turned out to be the perfect home away from home. The hotel is family-run, and the check-in was incredibly smooth and helpful, setting a warm tone for the entire stay. The room was comfortable and very well equipped. I especially loved the fully equipped kitchen — it had everything I needed and made the stay feel convenient and easy. The bathroom was clean and spacious, and the bathtub was surprisingly large and perfect for relaxing after long days. The working table in the room was excellent, making it a great place to get things done. I also enjoyed having a balcony, and the view from there added a peaceful touch to my mornings and evenings. Overall, it was a comfortable, quiet, and enjoyable experience. I would happily stay here again the next time I’m in The Hague.

Spacious room with own kitchen and lovely bathroom. Super helpful staff, very peaceful. Parking immediately at front but 20 Euros per night. 5 Mins walk to seafront and town centre. Beautiful area, plenty of shops and restaurants. Welcoming of dogs, charges apply.

Great Beach Getaway!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND))

The bathtub was AMAZING and very much needed.🙏🏾 The room’s amenities (fully equipped mini-kitchen, electric fan, flatscreen TV, heaters) were in great condition and so useful. The view from the big beautiful windows was lovely. The location was perfectly centered from all of the essential things in the area, with only a 10 minute walk from the beach and 2-minute walk from the local public transports. ALL-IN-ALL, it was a great 3-day stay that was far too short.😍😢

It’s very close to the beach and a tram station going directly to the central station. Also close to many great restaurants and stores. The studio was very clean, and the facilities were plentiful. Overall great stay!

New Gem Discovered

The check-in/ check-out process was very flexible, which I greatly appreciated as I arrived and left the property outside their regular operating hours. The room is very comfortable and clean. The two staff members I met were very polite and helpful.

Perfect place to call home for a few nights.

Spacious room with all the basic needs to call it your home for a few nights. A FULL kitchen, not just a kitchinette and a very nice balcony. Walking distance to the beach, yet in a quiet neighbourhood.

Pleasant, safe, close to the beach and easy to reach.

We`ve cooked our own food during our stay so I have no idea how the breakfast was. The kitchen had almost everything you need to cook, plates, pots and even a grater. The stove was a bit slow but it was ok. The hotel is in a very quiet and safe area and the beach is at about 10 minutes walking distance. The no 9 tram station is 2 minutes away from the hotel and it takes you straight to the central station. There is also a supermarket close by , so buying food and stuff was not a problem. The minimum interaction we`ve had with the owners was super ok. They seem nice. We could stay with our dog so it was very nice. All is all it was a nice stay.

The hotel needs to be renovated and updated into 2023. I thought white sheets are standard but apparently are not. Sheets were pretty old and with some ugly prints on them. If you`re not bothered by that, than it`s super. I couldn`t actually sleep very well because the matress was not very comfy. There were no slippers in the room and the walls were not exactly freshly painted. We`ve missed an oven and toiletry products but good that we always bring everything we need. I understood that one can buy toiletries from the reception desk. The weather was horrible, windy and cold. In 4 days we couldn`t get a tan at the beach. We walked on the beach a lot but with long sleeves :) This was our second time in Scheveningen and our last. This would only be nice for a daily trip not more since there is really nothing else to see in this town.

Great Deal in Scheveningen))

The location was very easy to access from public transport and it was just an 8 minute walk from the famous Kurhaus in Scheveningen. The building and they room were sweet, simple and comfortable, with all the needed amenities for a week stay—minus a washing machine in the room.

Lovely

Lovely studio apartment, convenient location with good public transport links (or you could take a ~40 min walk to the centre/train station if you wanted) - it's a ~10 min walk to the beach and pier also (standard amusements/arcades and array of restaurants, didn't go for a sit-down meal but highly recommend the Indonesian food from Toko Deli in the indoor shopping centre!). Really nice to have an aparthotel with its own separate kitchen (although please note there is no freezer as I was forced, tragically, to eat a whole tub of ice cream in one go 😉) The host was quick to respond to my queries and was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered as an option for room service was huge! She also very kindly arranged late check-out for me at no extra charge. Pretty quiet location also, without being far away from anything at all, or feeling *too* quiet in terms of one's own noise.

Would've liked a little more control over the heating (although I am sure that the host would have been helpful as with everything else if I'd asked about it) The balcony door has a bit of an annoying knack to it also. The balcony itself was well worth the upgrade though 😊

Nice host, very polite and welcoming, replying fast to all information requested prior to arrival. Clean and well equiped for a few days trip in the city. Quiet area, easy accessible. Highly recommended!
