Pool could be kept a bit cleaner. Overall, everything else was good

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The location couldn’t be better, just a quick 5-minute walk and you’re right on the beach, which made it so easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. The property itself is beautifully maintained, and the facilities are exactly what you’d hope for, comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Our room was just as pictured (always a relief when that’s the case!), and everything felt fresh and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We visited in April during the shoulder season, which turned out to be a hidden gem, peaceful, uncrowded, and incredibly relaxing. At times it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. While breakfast is offered on-site, we actually loved exploring the many amazing breakfast spots around Tamarindo. There are so many delicious local options just a short walk away, and it became one of the highlights of our mornings. We did try the hotel breakfast once and enjoyed it, but don’t miss the chance to experience the town’s vibrant food scene. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay if you’re looking for a perfect mix of convenience, comfort, and a laid-back atmosphere. We would absolutely come back!

The breakfast options are average. The options are much better at spots around town.
