Situated in the beautiful Little Dart River Valley, you’ll have plenty of country walks and inspiring scenery right on your doorstep. Go fishing on the stocked Coarse lake, or fly fishing at either of the ground’s two rivers. Sit out under the gazebo with a holiday read, or simply enjoy a cup of tea at the bench overlooking the pretty pond. Serene and picturesque, your lovely cottage is ensconced in natural beauty. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable high-ceilinged living room with exposed wooden beams. There’s a wood burner by the leather sofas to help keep things toasty, and the open-plan space means that the kitchen and dining room will also benefit from the fire’s roaring blaze. Prepare a home-cooked meal to enjoy at the light wood table all together, then enjoy some drinks on the courtyard before retiring to the large bright bedrooms. They have a relaxing and breezy feel, thanks to the light wicker headboards and matching chairs. Sprawl out and sink into a deep night of rest, the kind you can only get when you’re really away from it all.
