The warmest welcome, a hostess to remember, a place to return

Lucy is truly the epitome of a great hostess. She cares, coddles and gives the very best of her, as well giving the best possible tips so you leave Paraty with the heartfelt promise to one day return. The beds were very comfy and the rooms with a private jacuzzi after a long day of exploring or trekking.

Wonderful experience! We'll be back!

Wonderful experience! It's a beautiful and very peaceful pousada. We stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony, it was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the shower had hot water with a good pressure. The breakfast was also fantastic and had fresh fruit and cake. There were even adorable monkeys that came to visit the Pousada in the morning, which we loved to see. Lucy and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home and help us plan the daily trips as well. We'll definitely return again and recommend it to others!

Nothing to complain about. Lucy was attentive and immediately resolved a concern we had.

Great hotel in Paraty

Gorgeous hotel, beautifully decorated. All staff was very pleasant and friendly, including the owner Lucy, and the breakfast was a highlight, very fresh and great options available. The hot tub was a good addition to the room, great for relaxing in the end of the day after going out in tours around Paraty. The receptionist Pedro was really helpful, specially recommending an amazing private boat tour. Overall, a great experience with better cost benefit than the hotels in the city historical centre.

Lovely stay!

We loved our stay at Gaia Pousada. We had a lovely and spacious room. The hostess is very friendly and always ready to advise on what to do in Party. Breakfast was good and we spotted some monkeys crossing the garden.

The pousada is located outside of the center of Paraty but we didn't mind the 20 minute walk, but good to be aware of that. The neighborhood is very safe though and nicely quiet.

Relaxing stay at Paraty

The room was spacious, nice hot shower, breakfast was good and breakfast area was very pleasant. lots of places to relax and read - and Lucy is a fantastic host with great tips and positive energy! the location is a ~25min walk from the historical city centre. very safe walk with a walkway all the way to the city centre - otherwise a taxi ride is R25. overall nice location but good to be informed about the extra physical effort or cost to be based there.

Lucy ( the English speaking ) hostess was so helpful with taxi and excursion bookings & general advice. The room was clean and a very nice breakfast. Free car parking very helpful.

Do not overlook this homely place with big comfy beds!

The whole place felt very homely! The rooms were a good size and had everything we needed, even a small fridge in the room which is always handy. The bed was also huge and comfy! The team were also all great - Lucy made us feel at home (it was lovely to speak English with someone who speaks it so well!), and everyone else was always helpful and smiley. Breakfast was also excellent - lots of options and varied from day to day. Lucy mentioned that some people had been put off staying here because of the 'distance' from the historic centre but honestly it's a 15-20mins walk (depending on your speed) and we much prefer to be out of the centre and know we'll get a good night's sleep because it was so peaceful!!

A nossa hospedagem foi excelente, só tenho elogios a fazer, a começar pelo atendimento dos funcionários, desde a recepção, arrumação do quarto e o café da manhã. A Pousada é linda, muito bem decorada, limpa e organizada. Conta com vários pontos instagramáveis para fotos. O quarto é espaçoso, o colchão é de excelente qualidade e a roupa de cama e banho impecáveis. A área da piscina é um espaço muito aconchegante e bem cuidado, que oferece uma área de descanso maravilhosa. A Luci, proprietária da pousada, é um encanto de pessoa, simpática e muito agradável, ela dá uma atenção aos hóspedes que é incrível, o que faz toda a diferença na hospedagem. Posso dizer que é uma Pousada onde o hóspede se sente acolhido. O café da manhã é maravilhoso, com várias opções e muita qualidade. A localização é excelente, com acesso fácil para Rodovia em direção as praias e fica próxima do Centro Histórico e de comércios. Excelente custo benefício por tudo que oferece. Super indico e com certeza voltaremos mais vezes. Gratidão aos funcionários e a Luci, proprietária, pela hospedagem que nos proporcionaram.

A pousada é muito confortável, bonita, acolhedora e limpa. O quarto é espaçoso, a cama é ótima ! O espaço para o café da manhã é bem agradável, e o café em si é super bem servido e gostoso. Toda a equipe trabalha em sintonia, oferecendo um ótimo e caloroso atendimento, desde as meninas da cozinha e limpeza, até o gerente e a proprietária. Nota 1000! Além de muito bem atendidos, nos deram dicas e contatos importantes para fazermos lindos passeios pela região. Voltaremos! Não recomendo.

Não consegui ficar no local mais de uma noite por causa da limpeza. Muito pó, edredom com mancha de sangue (foi trocada depois que informei), mas dá uma má primeira impressão muito grande. O frigobar estava muito sujo, e com insetos. Minha esposa teve que pedir pano e álcool para poder limpar um pouco para poder usar. A janela do quarto que dava pra sacada estava com vários vidros quebrados. Tivemos que por sacolas e fita isolante para poder dormir e não entrar insetos. Gastei muito com combustível e pedágio, dirigi muito para ter uma péssima noite de sono. Não recomendo.

Gostamos de tudo, desde a recepção até o check-out. Quartos, chuveiros e café da manhã são excelentes. No primeiro dia, o Vinícius, da recepção, nos ajudou com tudo que precisávamos, mostrou o mapa da cidade e sugeriu passeios. Muito educado e prestativo, foi indispensável para aproveitar a viagem. Nos outros dias, a proprietária, lucy, também foi extremamente educada e prestativa, nos sugeriu uma rota de passeio que acabou salvando nosso dia. Graças a ela, aproveitamos muito, mesmo com pouco tempo na cidade. A equipe do café da manhã também é super prestativa e educada, deixando o ambiente super leve e agradável. A pousada realmente é pet friendly, todos os funcionários parecem gostar muito de animais e os tratam muito bem. São a atração da casa. Sem dúvidas, o atendimento do Vinícius, da Lucy e de toda a equipe é o grande diferencial dessa pousada!

não gostei de nada

Alugamos o quarto mais caro da pousada. Ao entrarmos o ofuro estava cheio de agua já. Ao abrir a tampa dele estava imundo cheio de pedaços brancos de silicone e aqueles produtos de vedar soltando. Pedimos para trocar, e levou um tempo mas nos trocaram de quarto. No outro quarto o lençol tinha manchas de uso e sujeira, estava furado. A porta do banheiro estava toda destruida em baixo, as paredes sujas, o chuveiro quando vc tentava esfriar um pouquinho ele desligava e ficava completamente gelado. O ofurô desse novo quarto estava com um cheiro esquisito, a unica tomada de 20A estava quebrada e não consegui ligar o secador, tive que pedir para arrumarem. O duto do ar condicionado na varanda estava furado com uma "silvertape" enroalada nele e ficava pingando a noite inteira! O espelho do banheiro estava todo preto em sua volta. Pessimo! Eu peguei o quarto mais caro da pousada, imagine os outros! Não vale a pena de jeito nenhum. Fiz questão de tirar foto de todo esse descaso!
