Traditional quiet hotel in the mountains

This comfortable traditional hotel is on a quiet road, only 10 minutes walk from the bus-stop with the free bus service up and down the valley every 30 minutes. I booked half-board. Breakfast (from 8.00am) and dinner (6.30 - 7.30pm) were great. Much attention to detail - I was emailed beforehand about my choice of menu the first evening. The staff prepared individually-cooked eggs at breakfast. There were no problems the day I left about leaving my luggage for a few hours. For UK guests, there are 3 BBC channels. Staff were always helpful. There is no lift and no sauna, etc, so the guests were mostly enthusiastic walkers and cyclists who just came to enjoy the mountains. It was extremely good value for money.

Exceptional

A lovely little family-run hotel/pension. Does not have a restaurant in the traditional sense, instead they will prepare specific meals each day (which ends up being very cheap for the guest, compared to a regular restaurant spend). These meals were delightful, and included a soup, a main meal, a salad and a dessert. Excellent value, especially with summer season prices. The hotel can offer some beautiful views into the lower part of the Paznauntal valley.

The bike/ski room was down a narrow flight of stairs - was not an issue for my lightweight bike, but might pose a challenge to an elderly person trying to store a heavy electric bike. Of course, the hotel's surroundings are not very suitable for elderly bike riders anyways. The bike room felt a bit damp, and walls especially in the access stairway showed more than a little mold - I wouldn't be too excited to leave a bike there long term (rust might be a concern, certainly a wet/muddy bike would not dry there very well). The proprietor promised they are working on a new bike room for the next season. Breakfast was a bit weaker than the dinner, I would have preferred more cereals instead of the pastry-focused plate which was provided.

Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Das Frühstück war gut. Brötchen immer frisch, Kuchen und süße Stückchen sehr gut. Das Abendessen war sehr gut, abwechslungsreich, die Wahl zwischen zwei Vor-, Haupt- und Nachspeisen fiel manchmal schwer. Wir waren mit unserem 2 jährigen Enkel und dem Hund unserer Tochter dort und müssen sagen, alle waren sehr zuvorkommend was den Kleinen und den Hund betraf. Der Skibus war nur ca. 200 m von unserem Hotel entfernt, also fußläufig schnell zu erreichen.

es war eine tolle Woche, die Gastgeber waren sehr nett, das Abendbrot konnten wir zum Frühstück zwischen verschiedenen Menüs auswählen, Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Nachspeise, das Essen war sehr gut.

Gut Gegessen und Geschlafen schöne Aussicht was will man mehr.

Schöne Lage mit Aussicht auf das Dorf. Zimmer schön mit Bad Wc separat grosse Zimmer, Das Essen war super Frühstück ist alles dabei was man wollte. Nur zu Empfehlen wir waren Zufrieden mehr braucht es nicht.

Alles gut für die nicht hohe Ansprüche stellen Passt alles.

Ruhige Lage mit Parkplätze vor dem Haus. Netter Empfang auf Deutsch.

Um sich wohl zu fühlen, muss man offenbar der niederländischen Sprache mächtig sein. Wir hatten grosse Probleme, um ein Abendessen zu bestellen. Dies einerseits wegen der Sprache und auch weil die recht überschaubare Karte viele Einschränkungen bot "no humus, no potatoes etc.".

Wenn das Wetter gut ist, als Motorradtour Bassilager nutzbar

Sehr nettes Personal, Holländischer Betreiber + 99% Holländische Gäste), sauber, bequeme Betten, Balkon, Terrasse, ansich reichhaltiges Frühstück, aber oft waren die Platten leer und wurden nicht nachgelegt. Summer Card war im Preis inbegriffen, konnte man als Motorradfahrer nicht abwählen, dadurch Zimmerpreis zu teuer.

Waren als Motorradgruppe, dort. Konnten trotz Regen, keine Minute vor der offiziellen Eincheckzeit das Hotel nicht betreten, da abgeschlossen. Lage, wenn kein Wetter zum Motorradfahren, ungünstig, Hotel wirbt vorhandener Bar mit tollen Fotos, aber es war kein Bar geöffnet. War kalt im Zimmer - Heizung nur lau warm

Einfache saubere Unterkunft mit Halbpension - Auto empfehlenswert

Sehr freundliches Personal. Frühstücksraum/Restaurant: gemütlich eingerichtet. Gutes Frühstück (frisches Obst, diverse Brötchen und Croissants, Rührei/Spiegelei und Kaffeespezialitäten auf Wunsch verfügbar). Abendessen: Vor-/Haupt/Nachspeise (jeweils 2 Optionen), einfach aber gut - es fehlt ein wenig die Liebe zum Detail. Zimmer: Betten bequem, Toilette und Dusche getrennt, Zimmergröße für 2 Personen ok, Sauberkeit Parkplatzt direkt am Haus.

Abendessen: viel zu große Portionen - Idee: eventuell kleinere Portionen, dafür kleine wechselnde Salatbeilage oder gerne noch einen "Nachschlag" anbieten - so könnten Lebensmittelverschwendung reduziert und die Nachhaltigkeit gefördert werden. Skikeller: klein und nur von aussen zugänglich. Preis: für die Lage und die Ausstattung war meiner Meinung nach der Preis von knapp EUR 250,- im DZ inkl. Frühstück und einfachem Abendessen doch etwas hoch angesetzt - auch wenn Hochsaison ist und Ischgl (ca. 20 km) oder St.Anton (ca. 30 km) nicht weit entfernt sind ;-). Insgesamt eine Unterkunft, die den generellen Anforderungen entspricht.

Sehr netter Empfang durch die Eigentümer, Wünsche wurden sofort erfüllt, sehr gutes Frühstück, Menü - Auswahl am Morgen für das Abendessen Miniflügelwäscheständer im Zimmer zum Trocknen von Handtüchern und Handschuhen - da hat sich jemand Gedanken gemacht, einladendes Weihnachtsflair im Hotel super die Nähe zum Lift, Skibushaltestelle nicht weit entfernt

keine Kritik, nur eine Anmerkung: Ein "bisschen Weihnachten/Winter", wie im Innenbereich bereits vor der Haustür, dann wirken die, um diese Jahreszeit üblich, tristen Blumenkübel ein bisschen einladender und nicht so, als würden sie im Weg stehen.

Leuke eigenaars en lekker eten!

Het ontvangst door de nieuwe gastvrouw en gastheer van het hotel was erg hartelijk. Het ontbijt werd aan tafel geserveerd en was erg lekker en vers, inclusief vers fruit en je kon als extra ook kiezen of je nog graag een eitje wilde en de gewenste bereiding werd vers voor je gemaakt. Wij hadden geluk met het weer en konden elke avond genieten van het lekkere 3-gangen diner op het terras!
