The host Valeria is si nice, very communicative and obviously a profesional manager, thinking of every detail. She communicated with us via WhatsApp through different stages related to our stay and I felt we were taken care of. The location is unbeatable, in a peaceful tiny street right besides piazza Navona, in the heart of Rome. It is good not only because of short walking distance to many sites and hidden beauties, but also for feeling the atmosphere of Rome - as soon as you step out, you are in the historic center, which is recommended especially if you have a short stay. It is nearby good restaurants, ice cream shops, taxi stop and at walking distance to the airport bus stop in Via Crescenzio. The apartment is on the first floor of an historic house. It has several rooms for rent and a common kitchen - dining room, which is very convenient should you wish to have some eating on your own. The room is very charming and newly decorated, like in a better hotel, with big bathroom and big tv screen and the sweet (packed) Italian breakfast provided on the table. The bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet and peaceful, we had good rest. And for the movie lovers, it is right across the restaurant Santa Lucia, where Julia Robers ate in "Eat, pray, love". 🙂
There is an online registration/check in, through a website, but if it gets complicated, Valeria will help you to enter.

The location is fantastic. Close to everything but still quiet and calm. Everyday cleaning and tiding up and you will find coffee and other treats always available. If you have any problems than just call the staff - they will sort you out.

Fantastic location, good secure entrance and helpful hosts.
The ‘sofa beds’ were definitely more sofa than bed and is a hard leather sofa with a sheet on. Not at all comfy. The bath, as much as looks a nice addition. Is impossible to fill. On the couple of occasions we tried, the water pressure (or heat) wasn’t enough to fill the bath in order to use and if you did wait long enough, it would for sure be cold.

I stayed at Del Moro Room overlooking the courtyard next to the kitchen/common area. Room was very clean and spacious. It ticks the boxes in terms of everyting you might need in your stay (e.g. comfortable and a big double bed, comfortable pillows, shower cubicle in bathroom, shampoos, soap, hair dryer, slippers, iron and ironing board, nice towels, wardrobe, TV, fridge and air conditioner) and the room has been decorated modern. The location is superb, very close to Piazza Navona and the street is not noisy. Breakfast is not served in the facility but there is a breakfast room at the common area and has complimentary coffee, tea, jams, chocolate spread and rusk in the kitchen so you can have a quick breakfast. Kitchen has always been very clean. I haven't met and seen the host during my 4 night stay but I was able to communicate through Booking.com and Whatsapp messages. My host Valeria has been extremely kind, nice and helpful during my stay. I left my luggage at the property before check in time and after check out time for a few hours. The cleaner ladies were also kind, nice and helpful. I have put the city tax amount in cash in an envelope and left it in my room to be collected by the cleaner lady as we agreed before. I have also passed my passport info in writing to the host through Whatsapp message for customer registration. You can pay €10 daily for breakfast voucher and have your breakfast at the cafe/restaurant accross the street. I didn't opt in for breakfast option as I had to leave the room very early in the morning due to some arrangements.
The toilet flush is making a lot of noise and refill sound continues for ages after the flush. The shower head is broken, leaking water and you can't get enough water pressure to rinse neither from shower head on the wall or from the ceiling. It is taking so long to have a shower because of that. You need to use a passcode to enter the guesthouse and they give you a key to enter the building but first time entrance to the building and property was really confusing and a bit painful. Before checking in, host Valeria asked me to go to a link and complete the registration as the guest through her Whatsapp message but the information on that link was in Italian only, not clear and I struggled a lot to fill in the form. During my stay in the guesthouse some of the guests were very niosy, talked loudly in the corridor after midnight and in the morning so don't expect a very quiet stay and privacy in the property. During my stay around 10 pm someone tried to enter my room but my door was locked and I made a loud warning. I was really scared. I texted to the host and she said she can see what's happening through camera, they are new guests checking in late and they must have mixed up the rooms. It wasn't a nice experience , I didn't feel safe and thought what could have happened as there's no host or responsible person in the building. The room is dark and lacks daylight as it is overlooking the courtyard but if you will spend just a few hours inside the room (to sleep, rest and get prepared) that should do.
