Breakfast is my favourite time, when I get to meet the other people who are staying at the B&B. Gananoque is an interesting place to walk around, to see the variety of architecture and gardens. Along King Street, near the Visitor's Info, there was a map displayed that showed a few walking trails. I enjoy seeing performances at the theatres, but was there on a Monday this time, the day of the week when the theatre takes a break. My host recommended a good restaurant, Mavericks, where I had their delicious Summer Berry Chicken Salad. When I was in Gananoque in May with a friend, we discovered Beggars Banquet Books and The Pistachio Cafe. My friend arrived by train from Toronto with Via Rail. It turned out that the station is out in the country, north of Gananoque. But I was driving so that wasn't a problem. Access to the B&B and parking is from the side street.
