Lovely Little Getaway :)

Great location, short walk from Lyndhurst high street - new first is close by and there’s options for outdoor activities. Host was super helpful & friendly! I had some trouble finding the cottage and they stayed on the phone with me until I got in the building :) It’s a lovely place to stay!

Relaxing break

Excellent central location for exploring the New Forest. Good for eating out in the town/shopping, ten minute walk max. Off road parking. Lovely comfortable bed with good quality linen. Large bath sheets Warm cosy and relaxing

Two cars for properties P3 and P4 can be parked outside the accomodation we stayed in, which was P2. There would be little privacy in the kitchen area of P2, as the door into the accomodation is glazed with clear glass and the parked cars are opposite in very close proximity, although I do understand the need to provide parking for all cars. .

Absolutely loved it.

Wow what a little gem of a place!!! There is nothing that isn't catered for in the property, it feels like a home from home, all the little attentions to detail were covered. 100% would recommend and we will be back. 😊 Mr misery was even happy as Larry (even though the bed wasn't as firm as ours at home) 🙄 but I slept like a baby!

The property met our needs for a week's stay, but was not, in our view "deluxe".

Location was excellent for our needs. Bed was large and comfortable. The property was in a very quiet location.

For self catering guests, like ourselves, the equipment in the kitchen area was fairly basic for a property described as "deluxe". The refrigerator had no freezer compartment. We felt that the main living area and the bathroom could have been more brightly lit.

A little gem!!!

In an excellent location. The property was very clean and comfortable. Also has a spa bath which was lovely . There was a nice fresh loaf of bread and milk left for our arrival, a really nice touch! . A short walk into town with lots of lovely pubs and shops. Will definitely return here!!!

Pinewood Cottages Lyndhurst

We had a lovely stay at the cottages. It took us a little while to find the gravel path off of the main road but it was all very easy after that, we just used a code to get the keys. There is allocated parking for each cottage. There was a welcome pack with instructions and a number to call if you needed anything. The facilities were good, a large bed, a comfy sofa and TV. Fully equipped kitchen with basics like salt, pepper, oil, coffee and tea. There was even some milk, bread and butter which is a lovely addition. The bathroom was large and has 2 sinks with a corner bath and shower. The location was perfect, the cottage felt private but shops and a LOT of restaurants on your door step, we had a very nice meal at the Italian a few minutes walk away, but recommend booking as it was very busy. We enjoyed doing the Lyndhurst parish walk which can be started from the cottage.

We had a couple of issues such a the freezer was unusable due to being full of frost, and the cleaning could have been more thorough. The bed was massive but the mattress might need replacing at some point in the near future. It was still comfortable.

Directions were very good, it was easy to find Location was good, property was clean and tidy.

The weather was pretty warm while we were there, which made the room really hot and stuffy. There was an electric fan left for this reason but it really was inadequate. Apart from that everything else was very good.

Very clean throughout, and excellent location. Easy to walk into the town centre, and yet far away enough from the main road to be quiet and peaceful.

Having the main bedroom situated between the sitting room and the kitchen was a bit awkward as we were staying with friends.

Perfect for our short family getaway

P2, the apartment we stayed in suited us perfectly. There was plenty of space and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Just wished we had made time to use the whirlpool bath! There was a table and chairs outside which were perfect for an evening G & T. The property was within easy walking distance to Lyndhurst High Street where there is an abundance of eateries and you only have to cross the road to be out in the forest.

I can’t really find any fault with the property. If I were to be picky, it would be to have a chest of drawers as there wasn’t anywhere to put non wardrobe clothes but that is really minor. We didn’t get the jam and butter that goes with the welcome pack but again, no biggie.

The property lived up to the photographs of the itself, a generous welcome pack was left for our arrival. The towels were exceptional quality, and Netflix and WiFi being included was a nice bonus.

A wonderful location, very relaxing. Complimentary milk, bread, butter and jam a very welcome addition. Comfortable bed, and spacious bathroom with loo roll (handy after a long journey! )

The breakfast table and chairs were uncomfortable for us, could do with at least one comfy chair, as we didn't want to sit on the bed all the time.

Lovely property, dog friendly, perfect location to access Lyndhurst facilities, restaurants, pubs,shops etc. Parking on site was easy, bed was very comfortable, it was open plan in that the bed and kitchen area were all in the same floor plan. It was spacious enough for the two of us and our dogs a retriever 7 yrs of age and a 7 month well trained Cavapoo.

The main road outside was busy all the time while we were there, but that’s because Lyndhurst is a popular place to visit.

When we booked with booking.com which I have before lots of Times this Was Worst I asked for Two things walking Shower because my Wife just getting over spinal surgery plus we wanted to be able to cook our food no cooker very basic acomation the owner of property told us he spoke to booking.com and told you No 4 was only one with walk in Shower this inflation I did not receive from you so after travelling a very long way an for this to happen not a good experience luckily they had a cancellation in no 4 so owners said we could have at extra £200 wich we had to take him up on this offer as it Late no4 brilliant every thing suitable owner told me he would not Have put us in no3 and he told booking.com if we had known we would have not booked that room I have always had good service from you extra 200 not good for two old age pensioners
