A delightful property in a quiet location on the periphery of Montreuil sur mer but less than a few minutes walk through historic streets to the centre. Convieniet for numerous cafes, bars, restaurants and more for all tastes. Parked outside the property and didn't need the car until we left.

Vive Le Tour!

We were visiting France to see the Tour de France and the location was spot on. Less than a 100 steps to the route. Lovely little town. Accommodation had everything we needed.

Accommodation was a little rustic but had charm. Occasionally, it was difficult to find a parking space.

Fabulous ,peaceful ,spacious house not to be missed or forgotten !

It is a beautiful house with everything thoughtfully catered for . It is so well thought out and peaceful which was exactly what we wanted and needed . It is immaculately clean and a great location for the lovely town and near the station . We were there just as a heatwave was coming and downstairs is so lovely and cool it was like natural air con.! Free easy parking on the road right outside . Also lovely friendly neighbours that I wish my French was better ! I can’t recommend it enough as the other reviews have said it’s like a home from home . We have stayed in many gites and houses over the years and always bring extra stuff ‘ just in case ‘ and we didn’t use any of it ! We were stumped for once as everything was there . Many thanks to the owner Valérie for such a great time .

Spotlessly clean. Delightful courtyard and a very well equipped kitchen. The decor and design of the house was quirky and stylish and we liked it very much indeed.

Not enough coat hangers…but the only real problem was the broken power socket in the top bathroom,it made for some complicated logistics and manoeuvres when drying hair…..as a mirror and a power socket are pretty necessary!

Nice slightly quirky house. Great little patio. Well equipped kitchen.

No towels or bed properly made up in one room. Washing machine not accessible to guests. Parking not always easy.

Wonderful house in beautiful town

Excellent house. Parking on street. Easy access (uphill) to town centre. House was spacious with 3 bedrooms and 2 en-suite bathrooms. Nice back yard to eat out. Nice touches of free coffee and ample kitchenware. Owner always responsive and friendly to queries.

Well appointed house, with good facilities and a lovely town

The house is lovely. You can park right outside. The courtyard is a lovely space to sit once the baby had gone to bed. There is a toilet on the ground floor, en suite shower and sink to the front bedroom and an en-suite shower, bath and toilet on the top floor. You do have to go through one bedroom to get to the top floor staircase (the one with the sofa bed in the pictures). Wasn’t an issue for us as we were only three people but this may bother some. Location was good, about a 15 minute walk to the main square around the remparts. Host was very good with communication and the house is really well stocked.

A bit more info about rubbish and recycling would have been nice. We got instructions on the last day but wasn’t sure before then. Small thing only!

Week end inoubliable passé à Montreuil sur Mer avec cerise sur le gâteau météo printanière.

Nous avons apprécié les petits gestes d'accueil, par exemple petits pots de confiture,beurre, thé. Dans les salles de bain savons et gels douche shampooing. Linge de maison serviettes de bain, torchon pour la vaisselle. Literie très confortable et couette et oreillers sympa dans la déco

ceci n'est pas un reproche mais une mise en garde pour de futurs voyageurs les escaliers pour accéder aux étages ne sont pas évidents pour des enfants ou des personnes limitées dans leurs déplacements. Bien sur il est impossible de faire des modifications dans cette demeure ancienne qui ne parait pas de dehors, mais quand nous entrons nous ressentons l'ambiance cocooning.

Eine Empfehlung!

Wir durften im Oktober für fast eine Woche dieses Ferienwohnung besuchen. Sie ist wunderbar gemütlich eingerichtet, sehr sauber und vollständig ausgestattet. Vom ersten Moment an war es ein entspannter und angenehmer Aufenthalt. Die Ferienwohnung liegt direkt vor der Stadtmauer, was insofern ein großes Glück ist, weil man fußläufig (etwas den Berg hoch) den Innenbereich des Ortes erreichen kann, aber kein Kopfsteinpflaster vor der Türe hat. Dadurch liegt die Wohnung zentral und ruhig. Vor dem Haus haben wir immer ohne Probleme einen Parkplatz gefunden. Der Ort Montrieul-sur-mer ist knuffig und besitzt tolle Lokale mit hervorragendem Essen und sehr freundlichen Menschen. Es war so schön, erholsam, genussreich und freundlich dort, dass wir gerne nochmal wiederkommen.

Keine Kritik, nur wichtig für Personen mit einer Einschränkung: In dem Haus gibt es steile und enge Treppen.

Leuk huis voor 4 a 5 personen op zeer goede locatie!

Gezellig huisje, leuk dat er heel wat basisproducten zoals koffie, thee, zout, keukenpapier ed aanwezig waren, goede ligging, netjes en proper (overal houten vloeren), communicatie met de eigenaar verliep vlot, kinderbedje stond netjes klaar.

Misschien nog een extra pan om te bakken en 1 om te koken. Verder niets.
