Large comfortable rooms. Particularly liked John’s room with ensuite and lovely mountain views. Excellent home cooked dinner. Good breakfast spread. Lovely hosts Louise and Toger who gave excellent advice for nearby attractions.
The road (like many in Slovenia) to the property is precarious (nervous passengers be prepared). The serenity somewhat interrupted by the hosts yappy puppies (I’m guessing they will grow out of that 😂).

This guesthouse is ideally located for the Juliana Trail. The hosts are very helpful and friendly and instantly made me feel at home. There were drinks in the fridge and I had a meal with them on the evening. There is a lovely sitting out area at the back. It was clean, quiet and comfortable.

A wonderful option for Juliana Trail Hikers, this guesthouse is a welcome slice of comfort and calm with wonderfully social hosts who’ll make you feel right at home. It’s the type of place where you arrive as a stranger but leave feeling like an old friend - everything about the place is wonderful! Louise and Roger thank you for hosting me even though I turned up hours ahead of schedule… It was great hearing the story of how Hisa Brdo came to be, and I wish you many years of happiness and amazing sunsets from your fabulous terrace x
