Hisa Brdo Guesthouse

We hadn't planned on stopping on our way to Lake Bled, but as usual were running late. After entering "hotels near me" we found Roger & Louise's place. What a gem! They are the warmest and most knowledgeable hosts, clean comfortable accomodations, super tranquil location. Plus, a great price. Unbeatable!

If I had to nit pick I'd like softer towels. 😂

Beautiful, immaculate accommodations with spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. Really friendly and helpful hosts. Walking the Juliana Alps trail, this location is in close proximity to the trail. And since food is a distance away, the hosts can offer both dinner and a packed lunch which was a great bonus. Wonderful breakfast with plenty of choices. Highly recommend.

We had three wonderful nights at this gorgeous Guest House. Our room was large and beautiful, with the most comfortable beds, excellent shower and private upstairs courtyard looking over the mountains and valley. Roger and Louise were the perfect hosts, communicating with us promptly and they made us feel so comfortable in their home. We had breakfast and superb dinners cooked by Louise. My recommendation is stay here you won't find anything better!

From the moment we met Louise and Roger at the door of their home which they have converted into a guesthouse, we felt most welcome. We stood in the hallway for quite some time just chatting. There were only three other guests, also from the UK, and as the rain fell, we gathered together in their living room and ate together at their big dining table and got to know each other. What superb hosts they are, and nothing was too much to make us feel comfortable. Our double aspect room was beautifully renovated and the bed and bedlinen was perfect. We would definitely return if we came to Slovenia again. We hear that there are some great hikes out there when the storms blow over!
