Oakwell Lodge

Nice and safe location, host very helpful throughout our stay. Would highly recommend it to friends and family and hopefully we will be using the lodge again.

Lynne was a lovely host and the welcome package for us and the dogs was such a nice surprise. The enclosed garden meant the dogs could run around safely. The lodge was fully equipped with everything you need, such as a walk in shower, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer, outdoor furniture, cushions, parasol, tea towels, dishwasher tablets, cleaning products, towels, toilet rolls, everything you need for a self catering break. Nothing was too much trouble for Lynne and we felt very welcome.

Unfortunately we arrived during a heatwave and the lodge was very hot and we couldn't cool down. The bathroom was a strange shape with a sloping roof and very humid, with no place to put your toiletries. Handrails in the bathroom by the shower and the toilet would be a beneficial improvement to help accessibility.

Very attractive and secure, and in a great location for visits to London and the south east of England. The welcome package was very nice, and the hostess friendly and helpful.

Small, and perhaps the usage of space could have been better planned, although still nice. The shower left a bit to be desired, floor didn’t have enough slope to the drain.
