Responsive host for some lovely accommodation in a really peaceful location. Make sure you have the directions from the hosts though because google won't get you close using just the address. The pub at the start of the footpath does a decent breakfast.

Internet connection was a mite sketchy but it is a good reason to stay off your phone and actually unwind.

The property was perfect in every way. We felt at home from the minute we walked through the door and was overwhelmed with the little extra touches. The location was peaceful but close enough to amenities if we needed them. Our weekend was perfect thank you.

Didn’t like that our stay came to an end :-(

The boat itself is nice and sits in a beautiful quiet location. It is well equipped with a bedroom and open kitchen / living room with a fold out sofa. Bath is small but functional. Nice porch outside - if you don’t mind the mosquitos at some point.

Unfortunately, parking was a complete disaster and makes this a very challenging stay. The next parking lot is a good 5+ minute walk and the host advised us to pre-book. However, the website did not allow pre-booking although we tried multiple times. When we arrived there were parking spaces available, but it was again not possible to book a spot. We ended up booking an extra room at the Premier Inn for 90GBP, as it was still cheaper than the 100GBP penalty for parking (there is a huge video camera at the entrance to the parking lot). We had asked the host for an alternative idea or guidance, but got no solution!
