The Old Candle House

Charming little house. Very comfortable and well equipped. Stylish and practical. We did n't cook but the kitchen seemed to have everything. Set in a quaint little village, with a shop, fish and chip shop and pub with great food. Fantastic cafe we used for breakfast.

In the property our only minor concerns were the steepness of the stair case and low ceilings in doorways (but exactly as per the description) and the raised allotment outside the back bedroom window meant I was a little overlooked by the chap planting his veg. The parking space outside is a bit small unless you risk blocking the road but there is ample (free) parking on the street just round the corner. Also worth noting that the fish chip shop only opens 6-8, the pub does n't serve food on Sunday evenings and the beer is nothing to write home about. None of these things would make me hesitate to come back.
