Maha Shanti Ubud Villa

A great place to relax—very quiet and picturesque. We stayed in a wooden villa, and if you can’t sleep because of the sounds of frogs, it’s better to book other apartments here. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. The pool is small but nice. The location is a bit far from shops and cafes. Overall, if you want to enjoy nature in peace, this is the perfect place.

The property was perfect for me as I was attending a nearby Yoga Teacher training. It was clean, affordable and very comfortable. The staff were both friendly and helpful.

The cleaning is bad, the bed linen has never been changed in 10 days, there was garbage from previous guests in the room when checking in, there is no refrigerator in the room, the breakfasts are very bad, we were asked twice to put vegetables in an omelet, the staff told us what they would put, as a result there was nothing. The pool is cold and dirty. Only 1 towel per person.

Very cosy and relaxing environment with nice and kind staffs. Close to the center of Ubud (10-15 mins by scooter). A convenience store is nearby.

It would be better if the villa comes with a mini fridge.

The pool and rice field view are amazing. We upgraded our stay from a wooden cottage (no rice field view) to the apartment with amazing views. There is only one apartment with these amazing views. The apartment itself is spacious with living room, bedroom and kitchen. Nicely simple decorated. Huge washroom with skylights, bathtub and powerful shower. Seating space outside for breakfast and enough space for yoga. The staff bringing breakfast and at the lobby were kind and very friendly. We felt at home :D

This is paradise in the middle of a rice field. The staff are super friendly and helpful but they respect your freedom and privacy. A really good balance of local lifestyle with luxury accommodation. The villas are spectacular. You step out of your villa into a paradise of beautiful garden edging the rice fields of the local farmers. The facilities are a very high standard for Bali. The room I stayed in had an amazing king size bed, various seating arrangements and a well resourced bathroom. The towels smelt so good… In fact they were very attentive to making the room a peaceful and zen environment. There is a shared infinity pool but because there are only 8 villas there is a high chance you’ll have it on your own like I did each time I used the pool. After enjoying the pool the use of the rain head shower or bath tub was a great transition to get read for your day or evening. Each morning I highly recommend to get up with the prayer call and watch the sun rise over the rice fields with a clear view of the mountains (volcanos). You can also choose to have your breakfast by the pool or on the rice field. The included breakfast is as good as anywhere you would get in the local area and it was something I looked forward to each day. I had many positive and friendly conversations with the owner and her son. They were genuinely interested in knowing about my life out of Bali and to help me learn some Indonesian. I was sad to leave them.

There is a lot of local noise from the temples around but it adds to the atmosphere.

Worst hotel or villa breakfast ever. Location was misrepresented as not far from Ubud city center. It was very far w 30 mins of cab ride. Almost everything about the room and the property was misrepresented in Booking.com photos & narrative. Our "Deluxe Suite" was 1 Bedroom w window next to door facing wall after 6 ft

Very comfortable bed and pillows! The service is very friendly and helpful and response very quickly to all questions. We enjoyed breakfast on a terrace and a pool with the view to the rice fields. I really liked the garden... This was really perfect stay, too shame we were there only 3 nights... Hope we come back!

Breakfast was small but tasty, you can only order coffee or juice wish it was both and wish you could order toast with omelet also, they had a few set breakfast only but still overall was good, as food was a little drive away or order on grab. The pool was awesome right in middle of rice paddies! Room was wonderful and huge!! You are set back off the beaten path from center of Ubud, so its a scooter or car ride about 10 minutes. There are a couple of small places to eat within walking but close early. Great AC too!! Also they will have a massage person come to the place which was lovely to have outby the pool!!

Nothing its a pretty nice place away from hustle and bustle of Ubud!! Just be careful of the few dogs that might try to get you when out walking if owners don't have them inside their place down street from villas!

Beautiful lush surroundings. Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing shower and bath. Stunning views. There is no mini bar in the rooms, but the ataff let me keep some items in their staff fridge, which I was really greatful for.

Very noisey area. Ceremony/prayers most evenings from 5pm onwards. Noisey animals like rooster and dogs etc. A little far from food places, but I did use Grab to get food delivered. I would definitely still stay here again.

Hidden gem near Ubud. Quite authentic place. Clean spacey rooms, hot water and bath. Wonderful beds. Very good pool with fields view. Fun and friendly staff

Friendly staff, yes this is quite common in Bali but this guys really friendly :) Flexible breakfast time, something I get my breakfast after 11am. Really good view on Agung, Abang and rice fields. Swimming pool.

The location is a little noisy for me. I can hear clearly all the time the transportations from the streets around there.
