直島町ふるさと海の家 つつじ荘 Seaside Stay Tsutsuji-so

The location was fantastic. Right on the beach, the yellow pumpkin 2 minutes along the beach. The bus stopped right outside the front entrance. The BBQ dinner was brilliant and highly recommend. Lunch was also great.

If you do not have dinner booked, then you need to travel to one of the other villages for food. This is not a problem.

Amazing location

I absolutely loved staying in this cute little trailer right by the beach. It's very close to the best museums as well, with plenty of bike parking available on site. All of the staff members were excellent as well but I have to give a special shoutout to Hiro (I hoped I spelled his name right) who went above and beyond to make my stay extra perfect. Would definitely stay again next time I visit this beautiful art island.

Nothing to dislike! Just be aware that, of course given that this is a campground, there is no water in the trailer itself so bathrooms are shared and you need to wash dishes and get water from a shared facility. Also showers and bath facilities you have to pay for so keep that in mind.

The location is really great! It's perfect for spending some relaxing days directly at the beach.

I spend one night in the camper and one night in a yurt. The camper was really dusty inside and not cleaned well, so I didn't feel very comfortable. It's very very old so it should have been restored to a better shape before renting it. Windows were broken und the fabric on the seats had a lot of stains. The yurt was quite nice and very spacious, so I would rather recommend staying there. You need to pay 200yen for 15min of warm showering, which isn't much but regarding the price seems a bit cheap.
