A unique traditional home + inn in a remote island village (now very popular), but also tucked away from the tourist trail. The host was warm, friendly + extremely accommodating. Excellent value for money + we'd definitely stay again.

I did love everything about the house, the hostess, a very nice and sympathetic lady, runs the house with care, every little thing is thought over and in its place. The location is superb whether you are an art lover or a beach goer, you’ll be in the middle of all things. The village is super picturesque, and to my mind it’s the best spot on the whole island, especially if you usually lean to stopovers with local charm.

No such things. Probably, if you have allergies, you need to know that cute pets live in the house and nearby.

Our room, on the second floor, was large and clean. Comfortable beds. Great location in Naoshima, amongst Art House projects.

The main/common floor/outside was a mess. Shared bathroom was okay, but not great. We booked it since it was the last availability on the island. A true budget guesthouse.
